As you'd hope we're a lot more dogged in midfield and winning a lot more second ball. It's rattled the Kiwis whose fluency has not been great. Lot of unforced errors on their part. We still look poor at defending set pieces. Heward Belle one miss hit ball that almost cost us, some of the other distribution not brilliant, but otherwise ok - though not much to do. Our counters have been excellent for the most part. Roy, Fab and Austin all playing great games. And Neil, McGing and Monty giving no quarter - we're not polished, bit naive in defense, and miss a true ten, but otherwise much improved and at least have the kind of energy and fighting spirit that wins games.

Every reason to think we should be able to go on with this.

This is one of the most disgracefully refereed games I've ever seen. Had Muscat been sent off as he should have been, O'Donovan wouldn't have retaliated.

Muscat elbows Odonovan, then runs at him for seconds, Roy just casually headbutts him and drops him. Impressive, if it was a street fight... but... it isn't. Reputation will be tarnished pretty heavily by this. (And maybe enhanced in certain circles)

I have no doubt. KGC also fails to deal with that late push on O'donovan.
He had to be looking right at Muscat when he through that elbow - which connected.
