ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Off you go Izzo, we're keeping the new guy!
The double save? It was ok - poor striking really. A moment after, was fantastic keeping, read the play really well.

A moment after that? Hmm, flat footed a bit, but not hugely his fault. The defender behind him deserves to do laps until 1am for just standing there and watching while his man is running at the ball. Disgustingly poor defending, but it's the sort of defending we've seen all season.

Loving the band taking a walk through the crowd

God commentators are stupid. The keeper's touch would not have nullified that offside there - it wasn't a parry.

Roy situation is tricky. It was grubby and he'll be condemned but as has been pointed out he can't be sanctioned further.

I'm glad others saw the Muscat elbow to the head though.

Although to be fair, the headbutt was so nasty that the MRP should be able to intervene. But they can't. Although they've never stuck by their own rules before. Lucky, would have been a very long time on the sideline. 6 weeks at the very minimum, though for something like that it could be measured in months, so to speak...

Either way he needs a good talking to. That was just an ridiculous loss of control, completely unacceptable.

Well Harpers already pushed for exactly that.

Then Muscat should be cited too, he lashed out but missed, Roy just has better aim. :headbutt::naughty:

Hopeless refereeing. If he sees the first incident and rightly books Muscat, never happens, if he notices the player is now beelining back to Roy with intent. He can intervene, Roy, stupidly takes it into his own hand. Or errrmmm.... head... I guess to put an end to Muscat who has always by trade been a skilled thug.

Why is Harper suddenly pushing for FFA intervention this time but nobody blinked on the Simon hit last week?

God I hate the media sometimes.

First game I've been able to watch in three weeks.
Looked like they worked hard in defence, swarming the ball carrier with two or three Mariners. Some nice interplay in the final third too.
Passion seemed to be there. Don't look like a team in disarray to me.
So good to get a win again.
New year, let's hope they keep winning. Got to avoid the spoon.

Precisely. Even look at the incident in the dying minutes in the corner. 2 WP player pushing our guy, AR is 2 feet away doesn't so much as open his mouth. The headbutt should have been spotted by ANY of the officials, and it wasn't - and KGC booked him for an incident nobody saw. Although the elbow to the face, again - and I can't believe this has come up 2 weeks in a row - assistant referees and 4th officials need to be keeping an eye on players where somthing has just happened. So does the referee, but they're the backup. No excuse for either incident being missed - but it really reflected the refereeing across the entire game.
