ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Firstly, we need a decent song to send him off with and this bit in the official release:

"It has been a pleasure to have been a part of the Mariners set up for nearly three seasons now and to have been amongst the first class characters within our playing group and wherever my career may take me in the future, I was always look back on my time on the Central Coast with a lot of happiness and pride."

The pleasure was all ours, go well Mile

Yeah, his statement was class. All class!
I think Mile made the right call here, for himself. And in that respect I'm happy for him and I'm going to love watching him play through out his career.
This does however put massive doubts on our run home now and we need these 6 points. Hopefully we can replace him with someone of quality. Remember the rumors/talks about that loan player from Sheffield?  Hmmm

EDIT: It's rumoured that we got $800,000 for him. Not too bad.

Full quote from statement:

"Im firstly thrilled to have secured a move to Genlerbirligi SK, a club where Im certain that I can continue my professional development and improve myself as a player," said Jedinak.

"My time at the Mariners has been unforgettable and it was here that I was first introduced to the Hyundai A-League and, from there, the Qantas Socceroos and for that I am forever thankful to the coaching staff, playing group and Members and supporters at the club.

"I hope to put in two big performances for the club before I depart and truly believe that the playing group that we have at the Mariners at present is capable of challenging for honours this season.

"It has been a pleasure to have been a part of the Mariners set up for nearly three seasons now and to have been amongst the first class characters within our playing group and wherever my career may take me in the future, I was always look back on my time on the Central Coast with a lot of happiness and pride."

Mile has 4 yellow cards. If he gets another against the scum that will mean he will be able to watch his own farewell with the marinators instead of on the pitch. I wonder if that will affect the way he will play against the scum. He does accumulate some quite soft yellow cards I hope the same does not happen tomorrow night. It would be disappointing to say the least if he were to be farewelled with a walk around Bluetongue in his suit instead of the yellow and navy.

As an aside to that if Pedj Bojic (7) will pick up one more yellow in the regular season then he will be suspended for TWO matches.

FFA rules for yellow cards

(a) five (5) Yellow Cards during the Regular Season, equates to a one (1) match
suspension;
(b) for every three Yellow Cards during the Regular Season thereafter, a two (2)
match suspension. (For example, two (2) match suspension for 8 Yellow Cards
and a further two match suspension at 11 and 14 Yellow Cards).

Good luck to him. BTW, there are three NSWelshmen at Gencler; Mile, Bruce & Burns.

Well, well, whom does Lawrie have in mind to buy now?

Not an ideal thing to wake up to this arvo, but let's hope he plays his backside off until and including NYE.

Keensy, please feel free to PM me Saturday night's lotto numbers...

Grats to Mile on securing the move, and kudos to the Mariners and what Gorman said about not standing in the way of a player's development. Will hopefully encourage further signings with a stance like that.

Farewell Mile. My favourite player and I hope he can make a move to a better league after hopefully keeping them up. This was always going to happen so can't be too surprised but we are going to miss him. Our season is now f**ked and I think we'll miss the 4 unless a huge signing can be brought in to replace him.

Good luck Mile continue to use the force and smash those Turks
