ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Well, well, whom does Lawrie have in mind to buy now?
i rekon we will have someone over fro Sheffield

i reckon not

It won't be Gillespie
Sheffield United recall Gillespie
Eurosport | Wed, Dec 24, 17:44
Sheffield United winger Keith Gillespie is to be recalled from his loan spell at Charlton after their Boxing Day clash with QPR
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/ticker/hub/football/index.html?item=1792749

Not saying we will get Keiff but the fact he's been recalled in interesting - why recall him if they aren't gonna use him or send him elsewhere.......
Sheffield are down to the bare bones in their squad due to injuries and the fact Carney wont be playing because of his relaionship with the gaffer.
I really dont think anyone will come over after my time there last week.

I think he was timid last night - probably too scared to get a Yellow and miss out on his last game....

According to Cockerill, North's deal is worth $2m to him over the length of the contract.

So if Mile is getting anything like that (say even half) we couldnt compete and he would be mental to turn it down

Just had a look at the photo thread on the Scum forum. There's a photo of the handbags at the end and in the background is Mile and Jade North swapping shirts!!

Disgraceful.

. good captaincy from north .... when your bitches are about to start a blue, find the guy most likely to cause damage and explain to him that you would do anything to get rid of your last ever jest shirt

Well its Time now to farwell the Great Man, In just over 1 day's time our legend will play his last game for his beloved mariners, Lets look at his Short and Successful career at the Mariners.

Jedi made his debut for the Mariners on 12th November 2006 against the Scum.

He scored his first goal a year later against the Smurfs on the 22nd December 2007.

Since his debut in 2006 he has played 50 games for the Mariners.

He has played 3,898 minutes for the Mariners.

He has scored 8 brilliants goals and converted 2 penalties.

Mile thanks for the memories and great times, well miss you and youll never be forgotten. May you be Yellow forever.

Though it may be disappointing that Mile is leaving I think we have enough depth to
make the 4 and continue to battle for silver.

Some of you may think that Jedi's departure may mean the end of
our season. He's without doubt now the A-league's best player,
and he will continue his progress in Turkey.

I say goodluck to him, he deserves this, though Lawrie still has options.

Pedj Bojic has been a gun for us this year, a great signing by LM.
Though he may be a right back, he has drifted to both the
centreback and left back roles during this season.
He's strong, he has good vision and would possibly be able to fit into
that defensive mid role Mile held so well.

Another option is Macca. He may be a striker but this season he's shown he's
quite versatile. Whilst LM has played him up front he's shown his strength, fitness,
tackling and shooting abilities. He could well be the perfect replacement for Jedi
in my opinion which would end the fight for the two strikers. We would Start with
Matty and Sash, bringing Disco on around the 60-70 mark for the lesser player of the
two (depending on our performance).

Lastly, it's no secret that Hutch is not so much of a fan favorite at the moment, though
it seems Lawrie is loyal to him and believes we still have not seen his best. With a partnership
now beginning between both Porter/Gumps and Heff/Osman aswell as Caceres starting
almost every match in that CAM spot, the defensive midfield spot could be the only place left
for Hutch, and with LM playing favorites, it is a major possibility that will be what happens.

Ofcourse things may be easier if we were at full strength, without injury problems.
With Clarkey, Owens, Elrich etc back we may have more options but for now it seems either
of these 3 options or the chance of a January signing for a specific Jedi replacement
is on the cards.

Whatever happens, in LM we trust.

Player come & Players go. That's football.
Our team will live on.

Good Luck Mile, I hope this move furthers your Football Career.

You deserve a full time Socceroos jumper and I believe you may yet achieve that dream.

I'll certainly miss those bullet kicks into the top corner, as no one does it like you.

I hope to see u in a socceroos jersey permanently next time you visit Australia.

And please drop in to the beautiful Central Coast as I will certainly miss you.  :'( :'(

I think  his game has peaked in this league. He needs to go to improve and hopefully become a regular international player.

I think a fit Greg Owens can do as good a job for us.

IF he's fit and can stay fit.  :-\
