ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Well its Time now to farwell the Great Man, In just over 1 day's time our legend will play his last game for his beloved mariners, Lets look at his Short and Successful career at the Mariners.

Jedi made his debut for the Mariners on 12th November 2006 against the Scum.

He scored his first goal a year later against the Smurfs on the 22nd December 2007.

Since his debut in 2006 he has played 50 games for the Mariners.

He has played 3,898 minutes for the Mariners.

He has scored 8 brilliants goals and converted 2 penalties.

Mile thanks for the memories and great times, well miss you and youll never be forgotten. May you be Yellow forever.

Last year 06/07 the Mariners werent much good when presented with free kicks in the opponents half.
Jedinak made a niche for himself this year and made us more dangerous from those dead ball situations.
So the other question about replacing jedinak is who will fill that role?

I was just thinking, has Mile not been playing somewhat injured all season?

Will he not have to pass a medical before he transfers?

Could be a problem

Keep Adrian away from the ball. Everytime he takes one he spoons it over the crossbar by 20 metres.

And Disco doesn't?  Last Time Jedinak took a free kick even the mere presence of Disco Nik made him spoon it over the bar!

At least Nik hits it with some power and sometimes LOOKS like he might score from a free kick, Caceras is poo from free kicks, my sister can kick it harder

+1
I was thinking that last week- especially after he subbed off vs Newcastle!
Surely they would be just a tad wary of signing an injured player ???

We'll see Mile go off early to receive his standing ovation.

Nik's freekicks are outta sight!
What we've lost in Mile's prodigious freekicking ability is replaced by that of NM if he can earn a starting spot.

Nik's appearances off the bench have been less than convincing. Wayward passes and harmless shots. Tonight is his chance. He is such a good player. He could've been THE a-league striker. a title that is currently being disputed between Archibald Thompson and Shane Smeltz.

With the Sasho and Nik frontline and Mile dying to score, I think we'll see a 3-1 win. A good way to see off a great player.

I think it was Nik that took the best frre kick by a mariner. Brisbane Water end against Melbourne. Thumped in straight into Musc**t's balls. The ball goes wide and I think it was Petrie that put it away.
