ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

1. reasons for leaving - same as most players
2. comments about leaving - I've read nothing that didn't make sense. Please enlighten me.
3. disrespectful celebrations - you reap what you sow. He's done nothing our of the ordinary.

Sorry, still not convinced Aloi$i deserves such a long thread!
1. still makes him a greedy c**t, especially as it was not for a much larger amount...he wouldnt exactly be skint
2. wanting to go to a club where he can win things be part of something big etc.
3. Should have some class

if you are not convinced, feel free to stay out of the thread..kk thnx

The wanting to go to a big club and win things comment was what has earned him a level of loathing that ranks him alongside Judas and Sackwhack.

Added to that his pathetic celebration when he scuffed his 2nd penalty in just made him look like a twat.

He is simply a "Griffiths"

Isn't half the fun of football an irrational hatred of anyone who has wronged your club in the past, no matter how major or minor??

:goodpost: I have an irrational hatred of the Scum, which is much the same thing I suppose. Although what they did in Newcastle to get the NSL franchise was a 1,000 times more disgusting and unprofessional than what Aloi$i did.

I'm just not convinced that the punishment fits the crime in Aloi$i's case. As Keensy says, I can just ignore this thread.

I have to laugh at the last comment Keensy said though, about Aloi$i could have shown some class. That could apply equally to some of the extreme posts in this thread too! But with my occasionally irrational posts about the Scum, it's a bit of Pot-Kettle-Black all round, so I'll leave it at that.

Mr Celery - The issue with Aloisi is as others have stated that when he signed for us he talked about how the Mariners were the only other team his brother said he should join (apart from Sheep shaggers) then he talks about building a community team and how he loves our community, how he doesn't want to be anywhere else. Then whats he do - leaves for about $100k more than we offer. (I am led to believe he was ready to sign when his manager asked SFC what they would offer him knowing what our bid was) - Then when he signs he talks about winning and being in a team that can win things. Sorry - we were Premiers last year, we are in Asia not SFC, it just throws it back at the Mariners and the supporters.

Yes - he was very professional whilst with us but the way he left was not. If you want an EPL example of how a player can leave for bigger money and club look at Tevez. When he goes back to West Ham every season they applaud him. Similarly we applaud Tommy P - its all about the way you conduct yourself and he has not done so in the right way.....

I am also sick and tired of hearing he was the guy who got us to the world cup -- FFS it was Mark Scwarzer who got us there

It intrigues me time and time again how many people forget the away leg of that tie...... some of the most immense Socceroos defending and 'nearly goals' I have ever seen.  Strange it might seem to say now, but Viduka and Archie were positively immense that day.

Fair enough. I agree with you about Mark winning it for us, although it was a team effort - just look at the lead up to our goal, plus penalties. The away game too.

Maybe Aloisi did not make the most diplomatic exit. Mile's was a perfect example of that too.

Our revenge will be when we win more trophies this year, while Bling FC don't even make the finals.

wrong, being a supporter isnt my profession, being a player is his.

Supporters are free to be classless, viral, disgusting, insulting etc etc etc and most importantly bias

Thank you Jaypee. I agree with everything you say - well said, espcially the last para - it pisses me off that Aloisi get's all the glory for all of Schwarzers great, hard match winning work.

Its a cross all Fulham players have to bear TBH. Do you know that England have NEVER (like ever) won the World Cup without a Fulham player in the side (and no Chavs either).

Does that get mentioned ever, nooooooooooo

If things were handled with a bit more thought and respect, the Breakers would have continued their long tradition in the top flight. But no, a lot of underhanded dealings saw the franchise taken off the Breakers and given to Con Constantine so he could create his cardboard Club from his mobile phone and car (his cronies words).

The Breakers lost everything - the players, the staff, the stadium, the licenced club. A lot of businesses lost big money, and many people lost their jobs.

Many of the vocal supporters walked away in disgust at what happened. A lot have never returned to football, others now follow the Mariners.
