Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

SYDNEY FC striker John Aloisi might have played his last game for the club after coach John Kosmina ruled the struggling striker out for the rest of the A-League season, casting a huge shadow over the former Socceroo's future.

Aloisi spent all of yesterday's training session behind closed doors at Sydney Football Stadium, apparently getting treatment on the troublesome quadriceps injury that kept the 32-year-old out of last week's 2-0 loss to Adelaide United.

With Kosmina critical of Aloisi's condition throughout this season, added to his recent injury history, the signs don't look good for Sydney FC's marquee man, who looks destined to end the season with just two goals to his name.

Asked if Aloisi were any chance to play in tomorrow's match against Wellington Phoenix, Kosmina said after training yesterday: "To be perfectly honest, you'd be lucky to see him play again this season. He's been out for two weeks, and basically he's got at least a week and a half's work [to do], and I don't think he's up to it yet."

The scum simply failed.

Newcastles colours arent red/blue traditionally. Green/Brown/White ring bells anyone?

I expect Con wanted to distance himself from what he did to the Breakers?

I think you will find that the Newcastle colours of blue and red preceded the green/brown\white.

I think the blue and red were armed forces regimental colours of some kind, and the green\brown\white are local council colours that were adopted later, and eventually adopted by Newcastle KB United.

And yes, Con 'casino' Constantine wanted nothing to do with the Breakers, their property and assets, and their vocal supporters, the Rowdies. Such an arrogant man.

It is interesting to see what the Mariners have in terms of solid foundations, compared to the  Scum. The Scum has nothing of value apart from the promise of Con's wallet, which is far less than even the Breakers had at their demise.

Compare that to the the Mariners Trust, etc. Awesome difference.
