If Nik continues with his 'its all about me' playing style and his obvious laziness off the ball, we will struggle to slot one in. IF he can motivate himself to go to the ball and work with his partner in crime (as a good striker should) by laying off well timed passes/crosses or slamming them home when set up for him, we may just win this.

+1 .... I think today will be pivotal in his immediate playing future .... if he continues on as normal I think the "No Dickheads" policy hasn't worked. I hope someone has given him a proverbial kick up the bum ... but would it do any good?

I have a sneaky suspicion that she's one of the few AR's you guys can identify on sight, which makes it easier to remember the ones she's gotten wrong than any of the others.  Stand out in appearance and it's a lot easier to remember what you've done.

From hearing the abuse she cops from the vantage point behind the goals, it's pretty safe to say that she doesn't get it wrong nearly as often as many of you think - I'd rather have her than many of the other assistants that are out there.

Maybe I've just missed the games where she's screwed up (and I do miss games -unfortunate, this one is likely to be one of them), but I can't remember any decisions of hers that stand out as being wrong, compared to some other assistants who have cost us several games with repeated f**kups.

God I hope Iraqigoals is going to be working...

Did they choose a representative from each team when they did the photoshoot, i wonder whos decision it was, if it was Lawries then he obviously had much higher plans for Elrich this season, considering he is playing for our youth team and yet is seen on any media reference to the mariners!

Well Elrich is
1) probs one of our higher paid players (you would think so)
2) easily the most high profile...an ex-socceroos regular etc.
3) Ex-EPL (no matter which way you look at it

Perhaps it should have been Simon, but this is an advertisement of such...i dunno
Ultimately it would have been a marquee if possible

I tip Elrich to go to Western Sydney in 2011...I dunno what he will do until then?

We lost that game from the front. Mrdja and Dmac were awful, beyond dreadful. Mrdja was the worst of the 2 (Dmac got better when Mrdja went off).

Unable to control or pass the ball they made it easy for SFC to regain possession and launch counters.

Rest of the side was solid and Wee Mac was immense.

Those two clowns made it 9 v 11 (ok 10 coz they had Byun).

SFC played some pretty football at times and broke with speed but they have similar striking problems to us - Bridge and Brosque wont win a championship. Sadly, with our forwards (Matty excepted) neither will we.

Good numbers for us, dreadful by the Sydney public.
