ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Probably a topic for another thread, but we need some songs for these guys. Marcel Seip is easy, to the tune of Dr Zaius from The Simpsons.
Suprisingly catchy.
Mate, that was WAAAAAAY too obscure but a nice piece of detective work (or are you a stalker? )Ha ha...
Marcel Seip did put his car up for sale 5 days ago
And everyone ignored me
Good to hear he is quick...coz according to FIFA he is very slow (and short...I need either tall or fast defenders)
Mate, that was WAAAAAAY too obscure but a nice piece of detective work (or are you a stalker? )
Officially the shortest (starting) CB in Mariners history...unless you count Porter?
I though Sainsbury is short (but he more than makes up for it...)
O'grady 1.93
Beauchamp 1.91
Patrick 1.90
Zac 1.89
Doig 1.88
Boogard 1.88
Wilko 1.87
Tony Vidmar 1.86
Trent 1.84
Marcel is 1.83
So he is short for a CB, especially by our standards
Hence it is a relief to hear that he in fact does have pace...
Look at our CB's...who would be considered pacey?
Trent > Zac /Wilko...and no-one else...right?
For the record...brad porter was 1.80
Not your average dumb as dogshit footballer either.
Has a Law degree from Plymouth Uni in the UK.
Not a bad achievement for a Dutchman.
He can help Zac with his assignments lol

Oi this is Slater isn't it?
And looks like Simon has got 19 back. Didn't see any photos of Dukey so not sure if he is being promoted to 9 or 11 or what. I imagine Flores will get 10.
I don't know why we aren't looking at Velaphi. Surely he fits the nice guy policy and is somenone Crawley can work with.
Oh my goodness! I stopped breathing for a moment when I read this!Word out last night that Danny has been told he's free to talk to other clubs & Velhapi to go back to Perth.
Come home Danny!
SourceBluetongue Stadium was a happy hunting ground for Vukovic during his Mariners days, and the 27-year-old urged his Glory teammates not to be overawed by the venue despite the club's horrendous record there.
"I wouldn't say it's a tough place," Vukovic said.
"The crowds that they get aren't huge and they're not a very vocal crowd. I played there and loved my time there, but there's a lot more daunting places to go to in the A-League.
"I know a lot of people there and I've still got a lot of friends in the team so it'll be a great opportunity and one that I'm looking forward to."
