ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
I'd hate to see the great signing of Flores to be followed by a suspect signing like Reddy. I've seen nothing in his past that suggests that he would be a positive for us.
i thought we had a no dickhead pollicy whitch's why we didn't try & sign kewellHopefully GA and the rest of the team management have seen that same nothing.
Bradesevic isn't good enough. Needs more time.
Reddy was awful yesterday, just awful. Trottesque in fact.
We need a new CB, a keeper and as a bolter? Brady Smith at RB.
(That's a long long shot but you never know)
#23) Adam Kwasnik (likely to stay?)
4 how long ?I believe he re-signed in January. Not formally announced though :/
Hopefully GA and the rest of the team management have seen that same nothing.
2 answer ur question he was the 1st ever scum keeper his dad was a rugby league player & he while playing 4 sfc & got sacked 4 getting pissed on a flight 2 Wellington during the 11/12 finals seriesI don't know enough about Reddy enough to form an opinion apart from a couple of incidents that made the media. If we sign him i'm sure that Arnie and co have faith in him which will be good enough for me. Saying that i still feel Pasfield is ready and deserves a chance and i would prefer to good young keeper as a back up that we can develop.

I was told two years.
As in Reddy got two years?
Reddy ... good behaviour.

Couple of interesting team line ups here - For a team that has been gutted we might end up better than LYR & still have depth & almost everyone believes the Golden boot won't be in the preferred starting 11.
Tassie - has Mc Glincy on the right as do most of you - Yet played down the left last year, Has Mc Breen (Golden Boot & GF Penalty Hero) as a sub
Midfielder - Goes a little unconventional & drops Hutch in his line up for Caceras, Has Mc Glinchy right & Simon on the left with Duke upfront & no Mc Breen
Dibo - Has Mc Glinchy on the right Fitzgerald on the left & no Simon & no Mc Breen
Everyone has the same back 4
Going by those teams (pages 77 to 80 of this thread)- Mc Breen will be the pinch hitter - First thoughts were are you kidding me the bloke won the Golden Boot (Should have had double the amount he scored - Possible just off penalties that he & everyone else missed). Then you look at his age & the fact he will be overseas so will miss preseason & first 4 matches it's probably not unreasonable. Then you put him as the first sub when we are chasing a game it makes a lot of sense plus can cover anywhere in the front 4. Plus the Duke probably needs to get a good go in the 11 now.
The signing of Flores now gives us plenty of potency upfront.
The back is another issue - The depth is probably a bigger shortfall here. Especially if Sainsbury departs as either the mandatory January departure or even before the season starts (hope not & the interest appears to have died down - Might just have hurt that hammy at the right time for CCM 2013/2014).
We also have a new first choice Keeper & a back four with minimum one but really two new players in it. So the back five are weeker than LYR but if the ball doesn't get to them we will be fine.
At the end of the day the squad is looking healthy & no where near as dire as first thought with all the losses after our successful HAL & Asian campaigns.
All this & no sign of an African yet
Just on the squad
My starting team .... obvious 11 players...

Meaning we still have two places to fill one is obviously a back up keeper...the other ???? maybe the Dutch Defender ... Reports a way back suggested we signed a 30 year old Dutch Defender from the Dutch Div 1 ... I hope so ... My Concern if any is the age of the backs... have a look at their photos ,,, HHHHMmmmhttp://www.footballaustralia.com.au/centralcoastmariners/players
On Caceras I am going on what others have said... he is more a number 6 than a number 10 and if that is the case he needs to force either Hutch or Monty from the starting side and if he is as good as many think this is the year he needs to step up...
On Matty S .. I have always tho he was a wide mid rather than a striker ... similar in many ways to Bernie
Storm Roux and Tom Slater confirmed:
