ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

"It’s also understood the Sky Blues have inquired about Central Coast’s veteran Dutch defender Patrick Zwaanswijk."
HAHAHAHA typical Sydney, trying to plug one hole on a sinking ship when they have 22 other holes!

Sydney are sooo short sighted and just shows they have no long term statergy in place.

CENTRAL Coast Mariners FC wish to officially advise that terms have been agreed for the transfer of Tomas Rogic to Celtic FC.
Rogic will now travel to Glasgow from Spain with ‘The Bhoys’, and will discuss personal terms with the Scottish giants over the coming days.
Subject to Rogic reaching a personal agreement with Celtic, the attacking midfielder will formally be transferred to Neil Lennon’s team.
Central Coast Mariners FC will advise members, fans and media of any further updates regarding this matter when they occur.

Great business for the club but a sad day for the fan; Rogic the shooting star briefly lit up Bluetongue and will always be cherished for that. Thank you Tommy Rogic for giving the Mariners fans the opportunity to watch you play.

Sydney probably has no more room under the salary cap than the Mariners - they already have 3 marquees - Del Pierro, Emerton and Carle out on loan.

Arnie asking for early release of Fitzgerald

"CENTRAL Coast Mariners coach Graham Arnold wants Nick Fitzgerald in Gosford as soon as possible now that the Brisbane Roar attacker has been shunted to the National Youth League.
After last week being told by Roar coach Mike Mulvey he was still part of Brisbane's first-team plans, despite signing a two-year deal with the Mariners, Fitzgerald has since been told by Mulvey that he will no longer be considered for A-League selection.
It has left 20-year-old Fitzgerald angry and desperate to immediately rejoin the Mariners, where he started his career.
Arnold, who needs attacking reinforcement after the departure of Tom Rogic to Scottish giants Celtic and Bernie Ibini's likely move to Belgian outfit Club Brugge, hopes Mulvey will grant Fitzgerald his wish rather than "punish" him.
"If they're just going to put him in the (youth) grade, we'd love to have him down here and get him involved in our first team straight away," Arnold said.

"I understand Brisbane's situation and I know he's got a contract until the end of the season there. But if it (an immediate move to Gosford) was able to happen and we could have him for the rest of the A-League season and the Champions League, I'd really appreciate it."
Arnold said the sticky situation was a product of the January transfer window.
"The kid made a decision before Mike Mulvey came in as coach," he said.
"Players sign with other clubs early and you want to hope that the boy's not getting punished."
A Roar spokesman last night said the club was considering the Mariners' request for an early release. But with their own AFC Champions League campaign on the horizon, provided they beat Thai club Buriram United in next month's qualifier, Brisbane remain cautious.
"Anything can happen in football in terms of injuries and suspensions," he said.
Arnold is a huge fan of Fitzgerald, who made one A-League appearance for the Mariners before being brought to the Roar by former Brisbane coach Ange Postecoglou in 2011.
Fitzgerald was not as highly regarded by Postecoglou's short-lived successor Rado Vidosic, who was deposed by Mulvey last month.
"When the opportunity came to get him back, I didn't hesitate," said Arnold, who rates Fitzgerald's versatility.
"He can play wide both sides and he can play as a No.10."

I think Bernie talent is very under rated because of our outstanding youth players we have had over the last 2 years there's doubt he is a great prospect. And I don't think he'll be coming back.

JVS is apparently training and looking for a run in the lower grades. Would make a cheap backup for Pasfield when matty goes, or was his release more than just his long term injury? With clark and crawly he should polish back up and put pressure on for 1st choice
