Mariners W-League 2008/09

I think I heard that the 'sack full o' cash' is to be opened IF the league is broadcast on FTA.
Broadcast deal is signed, then sack is opened.

I'm excited about the W-league from a expansion and game development angle.
I personally wouldn't go to pluim to watch matches. But would tune in to ABC2.
I would be a fair weather w-league supporter. Final Series and maybe a GC away match would get me to the game.

The money is not for it to be broadcast on FTA.
The money will go to the FFA, if it is broadcast on FTA.
Hence presumably makes up for money they could have made with it on fox.
ABC/SBS will not get paid by the govt to show it, and will pay the FFA to show it.
