It really makes me wonder who`s running this place or indeed if anyone is.
Do we really want to sign players that can lift us from being the worst team in A League history to a respectable position on the table?
My faith in the Mariner`s hierachy has taken a massive hit tonight.
From MC to Walmsley & to a lesser degree Shaun.(I`m giving him the benefit of the doubt).
At the moment ,to me I`m sad to say,the Mariner`s are really on the nose! :redcard::redcard::redcard::redcard::redcard::redcard::redcard::redcard::redcard::redcard::redcard::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Sorry - what has happened tonight?

Not concerned, better than Izzo.
Confirms the rumour originally posted by sportingnews.com a week ago.
Wonder if they are on the mark re Austin and Makarounas as posted by JP.
Austins chances of going to MV just nosedived.

Careful, we can't have any level headed talk around here...

Makarounas is contracted until June 30 - I wouldn't expect an announcement before then.

MV have announced they will not be renewing his contract, there is talk of him going back to Perth.
Whist he is decent, I think it is more important to sign a great #10 than a great keeper in the scheme of things.
So if the keeping spot has now been settled, the consensus is we still need a #10 and a CB?

Fark.
Although an improvement on Izzo he is not great.
Is Tony still farting about in UK or he back assembling the new dream team?
Or did Nash pick him?

Please Explain ...

Seems our hierarchy found a suitable centre back, MC & TW met with him....They had agreed the whole contract and terms. They pushed for him to get it done on which he was happy too. He then received an email saying they no longer wish to go any further. That was Late April/May.

From the players point of view, he was gutted, as he really thought we were perfect for him.

It just goes to show how amateurish we are really run.
I`m so disappointed, as a member , that something like this has happened.:fireup::fireup::fireup::fireup::fireup:

It does sound amateurish but you would have to think they have found someone better????????

Anyone know how our exciting new bargain bin cast off keeper went on his last appearance at CCS?

Dear Tony,

Can you please tell us what you saw of Ivan Necesvki that impressed you last season, to justify your signing of him ???

Considering,
Ivan NECESVKI played a Grand Total of:
Zero mins, in Zero games
Over a possible 28 rounds.

Whereas an alternative option was,
Ante COVIC who played:
2,520 mins, in EVERY FCKN GAME (28) last season !!!!
On top of ALL of Perth Glory’s FFA Cup games right through to the Final vs Melb.Victory.

So seeing Necesvki played didn't play a single minute, was there some unbelievable, 'freaky-arse' saves he pulled off at the x3 half-time warm ups that caught your eye @ CCS when walking back out to the pitch after having your cup of tea ???

Mate, after the shit-house season you just offered up, your a bloke who is in desperate need of a quality, experienced & reliable GK that can bring about stability to a back third thats basically shell-shocked.

A 40 year old Covic ticks ALL THOSE BOXES.

Ante was desperate to move back to Syd to be united full-time with his wife and kids & is a player stating he's wanting to continue playing & would've (imo) been prepared to play for the $$$'s you're now going to pay a 36 year old Ivan Necesvki.

Stupid - Stupid signing. :headbutt::headbutt::headbutt:
