ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I say we move out of Australia
Our only 2 decent games since the new year have been overseas

Lots of questions very few responses from the club.
Well at our end - the hard questions didn't get asked. Always easier to mouth off on the forum for effect, than to actually ask a hard question.

Who says anything about hard questions?
From June 2007 to November 2007 there were 8 questions asked. None of them controversial. All of them required minimal input from the club. The club did not bother to provide one single response.
I find that contemptuous.
I presume the forum administrators had some form of agreement from the club for their participation. What happened?

It's true that Mariners play better away from Gosford..... yep....let's move, but not overseas.... let's get back to North Sydney where the team belongs.
Note: for those who don't remember that far back.... CCM started as NSFC!

they weren't given a licence to hang around for a couple of years and piss off to north sydney, parramatta or anywhere else. they were given a licence to make gosford work. the fact that no other national league team (rhinos aside) plays from the coast was a definite contributing factor.
the FFA has put a lot of effort in up there, the mariners have put a lot of effort in up there, the people of the central coast have been great supporters thus far. if the mariners were to move away from the coast, there would certainly be a backlash. it'd be a spit in the face of everyone who's supported them over the last four years. the central coast would become a dead zone for football. it'd salt the earth.
if there is to be a team at NSO or parramatta, that's fine. the FFA can start one from scratch, not take ours.

That stops it becoming a whinge fest and allows the club to consider their response
Just a thought?

There is potential for growth if Mariners move back to North Sydney. It appears they are in a stalemate in the present form and location. Not that there is anything wrong with Gosford? - I like coming up there to watch football.. Gosford is a nice place village-like atmosphere but limited potential.
