ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners sell supporters short.... again

and thats the space the CCM need to own - the way you do that is by making it true.

ps - notice the picture of Scumford Bridge when it was still a dog track and the 20 pound note with Cashleys face on it? The hatred never dies.
I did notice.

And the part about how we used to pay the players wages but we don't anymore.

EXCELLENT post FFC, thanx for posting the video link.

Maybe you could email it to Lyall as a reminder why he's in this business and not merchant banking, and to Lawrie so he can show the squad what we expect of them as players and why we get so bloody annoyed when things don't go so well or we feel betrayed.

I suspect Lawrie gets it already...............

Whilst a bit long, the club has clearly tried to sell its point of differentiation (or USP) and yes, I found the bit about the wages depressing too.

That's a beauty. Made my day - thanks FFC M!

That's exactly the feeling I got at the Breakers and now get at CCM. And it's exactly the feeling missing from that Scum cardboard club up the road.

That bit about the walk up the steps and looking down on the emerald green pitch reminds me very much of the thrill I got as a 10 year old going to Nottingham Forest matches. Magical.

The video captured the essence of what attending a match in the flesh is all about. Foxtel may be convenient, but you miss so much of the nuances and emotions by not being there.

'Live life - go to the match' just about sums it up for me, and Fulham have nailed it.

There is a similar non-related attempt made by SkyTV a while ago to capture the 'football religion' that ain't bad either, but not as good as the the Fulham effort:

And here are a few others I like:

Out of the CCLC, across the road, up the steps and seeing the pitch....................what its all about and cant be replicated any other way than actually being there yourself

On another note. The Blue Tongue pitch is looking quite good. Hopefully the upcoming league game won't turn it back into a paddock.

;D

Words are fine. Pity they are voiced by one of the most non-genuine people around. Harper never practiced at the Breakers what he's preaching here. Two-faced c**t.

When a team dies in the grip of a powerful rage,a curse is left behind ............the bitter never forgive, never forget.............THE GRUDGE.

It's probably close to 10 years since the Breakers last played, Mr. Celery.... ::)

I am sure that Harper learnt from that debacle, and while I reckon he's an asshole of a commentator, he has written books and been quite an advocate for Football since that horrible time.
