ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Taking the piss???fishmum said:but he really didn't do a very good job on his second, and was lucky to have got the goal

Because his second was slotted well close to the post
But tbf, Danny dived early before he had even hit it, so there was no need to hit it with power as danny was long goneserious14 said:keensy said:Taking the piss???fishmum said:but he really didn't do a very good job on his second, and was lucky to have got the goal

To be fair, a poor example of a penalty though. On the ground and weakly hit. If Danny had gone that way again, a simple save.

disagree...if you have sent the keeper the wrong way before striking it there is no reason to blast itscottmac said:keensy said:But tbf, Danny dived early before he had even hit it, so there was no need to hit it with power as danny was long goneserious14 said:keensy said:Taking the piss???fishmum said:but he really didn't do a very good job on his second, and was lucky to have got the goal

but for the love of christ wilson, the man that got us to germany was NOT Aloi$i
but our man in the schtiks, schwarzer!!!, hes only famous for "that goal"
nothing else, it was just pure chance it was him could have been ahmad or the custodian him
self, anyhoo, Aloi$i is a c*** end of story, ever since "that goal" i was impartial to that head and shoulders twat but no more, since saturday, just a waste of space. . .
fc fans were offering us him back for $20 at a servo on the way home, it seems the jurys (smurf supporters) in on lil ol' johnnie!!!
Re: badge deal, i note with great memory of dmacs brace against queensland
that i believe was out of gratitude as is/was caceres, but jedi is that and pride. onya the lot of them. . . those things make me love this club and glad (being sydney based) i swayed away from the smurfs
Costar said:Good point Beccstar. Aloi$i is still my 7 year old daughter's favourite player. I don't think she fully understands that he no longer plays for us. And even though I rip him off big time, she still gets a thrill at recognising him on tv. To me that is the key to it all. As much as we think, and know, that he is a twat there's a little kid that thinks the world of him. I still have the pictures we took at last year's picnic (the length of that line waiting to meet him is testament to how much he meant to the Mariners), and the memories of what a great bloke he was - more than happy to sign everything and have his picture taken.
So while yes he's a twat. He can point to his name all he likes. It's like I tell the kids - it's mind over matter. I don't mind because he doesn't matter. But he did good things for us, and you can't deny that he's been good for Aussie Football. And while he wears another team's colours he'll always be a twat.
