ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The official Aloisi is a disrespectful arrogant f**kwit of a human being thread

Because his second was slotted well close to the post

From what I could hear the Eastern stand was giving it to him as much as anyone else so no beef with him going there in particular! I think he mainly wanted to run back towards the Sydney fans to seek some rare love.

If a player leaves to get more money elsewhere - fine. I think it would be quite refreshing to hear a player say 'I am going to that club because they made me a better offer'.

But it's shitty when a player arrives at a club like CCMFC, sells himself to the fans like he came here because he likes the ethos, the culture, and heard good things about us, then leaves for Sydney for more dough and gives their fans the same story - big club, great fans, yada yada yada.

All that tells the fans here is that everything he said was lip service.

That might be a bit hard for kids to understand, but it's surprising how many people DO understand it fully - hence the booing. The Central Coast fans are becoming extremely football savvy for having not known the game for a long time.

To be fair, a poor example of a penalty though.  On the ground and weakly hit.  If Danny had gone that way again, a simple save.

Compare that to Jedi's - off the ground, into the corner, and at such a speed that it becomes physically impossible for the keeper to get there in time, even if they guess the right direction.

But tbf, Danny dived early before he had even hit it, so there was no need to hit it with power as danny was long gone

disagree...if you have sent the keeper the wrong way before striking it there is no reason to blast it

Theres a big difference between sending the keeper the wrong way and getting lucky. He was always putting the ball to the left, nerves got the better of him and he scuffed it.

fc fans were offering us him back for $20 at a servo on the way home, it seems the jurys (smurf supporters) in on lil ol' johnnie!!!

Re: badge deal, i note with great memory of dmacs brace against queensland

A good penalty ends up in the net. End of.

The best penalty I've ever seen was Clarky off the post and into Reddy's back and into the net in match 1.0.

Glad you liked it

Yep totally agree - I am sick of the John Aloisi got us to the world cup. FFS Schwarzer got us there - and he will get us there again - he is immense in goals for the national team. Aloisi took a penalty and that was that. One kick.....

John came here and BS'd on about how his brother said Mariners were the best team to go to, how he wanted to play for the trophy, how he wanted to be part of a community club etc etc, thats why we can't stand him compared to others like Tommy P....

Good point Beccstar.  Aloi$i is still my 7 year old daughter's favourite player.  I don't think she fully understands that he no longer plays for us.  And even though I rip him off big time, she still gets a thrill at recognising him on tv.  To me that is the key to it all.  As much as we think, and know, that he is a twat there's a little kid that thinks the world of him.  I still have the pictures we took at last year's picnic (the length of that line waiting to meet him is testament to how much he meant to the Mariners), and the memories of what a great bloke he was - more than happy to sign everything and have his picture taken.

So while yes he's a twat.  He can point to his name all he likes.  It's like I tell the kids - it's mind over matter.  I don't mind because he doesn't matter.  But he did good things for us, and you can't deny that he's been good for Aussie Football.  And while he wears another team's colours he'll always be a twat.

Every thing you said i agree...
Kids don't understand all about the money , all about what he said..
Some one said that i should be selling the next generation of players like Jedi, and believe me i do. Aloisi wasn't my nephew's hero, but as a 6yr old he remembered all the Aloisi Hype. He was confused thats all. And you try and explain what went on to a 6 yr old.

lol, even if you got through to him would you believe what he had to say?....
I know I wouldn't believe anything that he says anymore.

As for booing all ex players that go to other clubs...
In many cases we show respect, to those that have left us, Mori is another that comes to mind.
As well as kwasnik, and tommy. All of these players have shown respect to the fans of the mariners. None of them ever acted like they begrudged their time here,

When players move onwards to other clubs, I feel that it's actually recognition and praise that the Mariners saw and developed and nourished the talent in these players, And that other clubs want to tap into the talents that they showed while with the Mariners. I feel it's a real feather in our cap!

The difference between Aloisi and the other players, is all the others were humble about their move, they don't spruke about themselves, and have a respect for the fans and the game.

There is a saying:
It's not the glitz of the uniform that matters, but the spirit that shines within it.

All the past players that have moved on show a spirit....and you can't help but admire that in them!
Aloisi showed himself to be narcissist on Saturday night and in past statements he has made.

NARCICCIST
Narcissists will do anything, including brutalizing their own family, to maintain their own feeling that others see them as without any flaws. And, narcissists have extreme and illogical sensitivities, sometimes connecting the most minute observations with their intense fears of being seen as flawed. Narcissists will strain every muscle to meet their own "flawless" image, and demean or destroy anyone or anything who casts any doubt on this image.

Preoccupation with hiding real or perceived flaws
Overestimation of  importance, achievements, talents and skills

Maladaptive attention seeking behavior
Inability to empathize with others
Excessive anger and shame in response to criticism often resulting in rage

Another thing I have noticed, that all the players that have moved onto other clubs , haven't done well... They haven't been able to produce the same results as they did with us.
and they don't appear to be enjoying their games as much.  GOES TO SHOW JUST HOW SPECIAL THE MARINERS , PLAYERS , COACHING STAFF, AND FANS REALLY ARE!
