The official Aloisi is a disrespectful arrogant f**kwit of a human being thread

the ffa however do not recognise their history

I think it's the supporters that matter in the perception of the club.

Given that the Perth website lists him as having over 200 appearances for the glory suggests that at least the club recognises it's history. they then go into a-league appearances

Aloisi is a joke to even Sydney supporters,
When I went out for a smoke at half time, I was amazed at the way all their supporters were rubbishing him, and wondering why the heck corica was on the bench. I got a strong feeling that they disliked Aloisi as much as we do....
I sat and spoke to a few Sydney supporters, they all commented that they want rid of him, and their coach kosmina. They felt that the entire team was being run by their board, and because they spent so much on Aloisi, he has to stay on the pitch.
They too believe they have lost this season all because of one man.

they also commented to me, that when we had aloisi, he was at least scoring goals...
I told them, that is because he was getting fed the balls right to his feet in front of goals, but he missed more than he got!.. and by the last couple of games he played sh*t, it was actually good to see him go!

What I did notice from the sydney supporters was a respect for the Mariners.
They were in awe of the fact they could always fight their way back into games.
They never ever count them out of the game.

What Aloisi did with the pointing to his name, was make a huge fool out of himself...
He not only mis kicked the first attempt, but he really didn't do a very good job on his second, and was lucky to have got the goal...rather than just appreciating the fact he scored for his team, he made that rubbish of a goal, an issue of it being all about him! As if to say STICK THAT UP YA'S..... I CAN SCORE!
The sad thing about that was, it was a goal handed to him twice on a silver platter, and both times he made it look rubbish and was lucky in the end.

I laughed at his what he said in one of the papers, he said he kicked the first one badly on purpose because he saw bojic next to him...
Now he is even blaming others for his bad kicking...

Something else I have noticed this year, Is without sheild refereing this year Newcastle and Sydney are suffering..... games that would normaly end up with the mariners having bad decisions cheating them out of a win against these teams, are at long last more balanced.
Goes to show what a difference Sheild made. At long last the games appear fair !
and look at the difference it's made to the teams that always benifited in the past from his decisions.

When Aloisi left i don't think there was one ccm supporter that wasnt hurt he brought alot to the club when he was here and was well respected even when he left in my opinion hated but respect Players will move to bigger money they carn't play football for there whole life so the more money the better which i carn't blame him for the move.

Another fact was when we went to the away game and got in a chant off with a bunch of them we sung of coarse "what a waste of money" and to my amazment they joined in i was like wtf and couldnt stop laughing.

Now to his goal celerbration if he had any respect 4 our club and the opotunity we gave him he would have not done what he done the stupid pionting and i no ppl here hate the badge hittin but i rather the badge hitting then the name pionting he lost my respect and if anyone else had any respect for him is has gone FOREVER. there was not one person in the crowd that didnt wanna hit him the angry he bring to us is amzaing a lil kid in front of said "f**k YOU ALOISI" at the top of his lungs he is like 11 everyone around was so angry i was so angry at this piece of shit i was shaking it was crazy.

Another piont if we werent getting to him what was with the celibration i think the crowd really got to him good job on our part haha.

End aloisi hateing mode

Here's a brief history of the new donkey:
1) does fark all coz he's injured
2) recovers from injury does fark all
3) admits that he's been well out of shape and thats why he'd doen f**k all
4) gets dropped to the bench
5) scores a goal *shock* although its clearly obvious that he did his best to sky it from point blank.
6) does fark all
7) gets his opportunity - farks it solid.
8) luckily he gets a second chance, completely scuffs it but somehow still manages to get a goal
9) points to his jersey - just in case we'd all forgotten about how Sydney have the highest paid donkey in the league and are stuck with him for another season yet.

Aloisi = new zdonkey.

(thanks to the Choppers for the above - just bloody funny)

I get players moving to a new club for money, but when a player moves club for a slightly higher amount, and then comes out with statements like
"I want to play for a real club, a club who will win trophies" its just a slap in the face.
Yes he did alot for the promotion of the Mariners, and my mother still carries a copy of the photo of him in her wallet, but the way he disparraged the club after will always mark him as a WANKER!!

i wasn't really going to write this, but it has played on my mind since the game last weekend.. I understand where everyone above is coming from, and i agreed he looked a little bit of a tool, dancing and pointing at his name... but... seriously are we really going to boo, every player to leave our club. Aloisi was a crowd favourite when he was here ( me included) and he was when he scored and even when he ran out, the crowd loved him.. now everyone boo's him. I had to explain to my 6 yr old nephew why no one liked him anymore, when he remembers chanting his name a year ago. 10 thousand people booed him from the time he ran out, everytime he touched the ball and especially when he scored... I just was angry about that thats all... i think we could have handled ourselves better aswell as him

Good point Beccstar.  Aloi$i is still my 7 year old daughter's favourite player.  I don't think she fully understands that he no longer plays for us.  And even though I rip him off big time, she still gets a thrill at recognising him on tv.  To me that is the key to it all.  As much as we think, and know, that he is a twat there's a little kid that thinks the world of him.  I still have the pictures we took at last year's picnic (the length of that line waiting to meet him is testament to how much he meant to the Mariners), and the memories of what a great bloke he was - more than happy to sign everything and have his picture taken.

So while yes he's a twat.  He can point to his name all he likes.  It's like I tell the kids - it's mind over matter.  I don't mind because he doesn't matter.  But he did good things for us, and you can't deny that he's been good for Aussie Football.  And while he wears another team's colours he'll always be a twat.

Aloi$i said pre match that he was expecting to cop it. For me it was not about him, as opposed to who he played for and how much he was getting paid for it.................. untill the name pointing .

If you went to this game knowing that Aloi$i was you nephew's hero, then you should have known what was going to happen.

I still admire the guy for what he has done in football up untill this year. He was a great footballer, now he is just an overpaid twat.

You should be selling the next generation of footballers to your nephew like Jedi, or go and buy tapes of Aloi$i of old, cause there will be no more inspiration coming from that washed up hasbeen!

Nope - I recall Tommy P being welcomed back with open arms, cheers, and even a few songs.  Because he respected what the club did for him, and he left on amicable terms that weren't "I want more money", "I'm going to your rivals", or both.  Even Kwasnik wasn't booed........ true, we kinda had a little laugh at him, but his leaving was nothing heinous.

Spencer - went straight to our northern rivals.  Not sure about the money.  Thus, he was booed.  The man was our inaugural club captain ffs, you just don't do that sort of things.

Aloisi - went to Sydney on the pretense of "I'm going to a bigger club, plus I get more money (even though it only ended up being the equivalent of not-much-more per season) so who really cares what those povo's from up the freeway think".  Has made a total arse of himself to the point where our crowds are bigger, his goal scoring form is laughable, and he's hated by 2 sets of supporters.

So I'm pretty sure we won't boo _everyone_ who leaves - just depends on the circumstances really.

james, i think my wife said it perfectly last night:

"when down in melbourne when tommy scored he didn't over-celebrate despite it being his first goal for the new club, and afterwards he came over and clapped the marinators"

all class tommy, all disrespect aloisi

what disappointed me most about aloisi was that the celebration was in front of the family section

That pretty much sums it up......

Ponno - I was waiting for that too.  I was even angrier when he ran off and acted like a jerk infront of kids who would have idolised him last season.  Poor form.
