No, no - you can be a silent mute in any part of the ground
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

If anyone thinks that we are too mean to our players, this open letter was posted on the Grimsby Town fans website to the players (contains very bad language)
I thought this Kiwi journo was tough, but the Grimsby letter takes the cake.

The next two games are away to Melbourne and away to Fury - then 4 games out of 6 leading up to NYE at home.
If in the next 2 weeks we don't get any points - and we play uninspiring football - then I can see us just fading away into obscurity this year.
Conversely if we can turn it around and get a run on - home crowds and support may build over the next couple of months.
The time is now - this is the tipping point.

Right - the boys have have done the first part with the two away wins. Now is the time to get everyone to the ground and lift our mighty Mariners for the run home. If you know people who have been before and drifted away - get them back!!! If you don't - bring along some converts. Time to fire up people.

I thought it would be opportune to take a moment to all just have a look at the table...

...we can see that in spite of the doom and gloom, the wailing and rending of clothes, we're not travelling too badly at the moment thanks very much.
Clearly we haven't spent up like a number of other clubs and some of our football has been dire to watch, but we're not far from the top of the pile. It's a tight comp with all of 3 points from 3rd to 9th, 5 from 2nd to last.
At times we're showing real enterprise, the defence has toughened up (best in the comp) and we've got a couple of new players who are providing some much needed spark.
Hutch is in his best form in a couple of years, Danny's back near his best (aside from Cassio's goal on Friday) and even Mrdja is working to the ball and trying to create options.
So can we not have the declaration of the end of the world every time we lose a game? It's going to happen from time to time. How about everyone takes a big gulp of Chill The f**k Out and we look forward to next week?

Note that there are now 712 members of the clubs official fb site - not too shabby in a sort time.
Hope the club promote the living whatsits out of this game

Maybe you should define "concerned" first. I'm a bit concerned after 4 straight losses that we might end up at the bottom of the table this season, yeah. I'm a bit concerned about losing quality players in January. But I won't go running around calling for the coach's head or anything like that. Give it a few seasons of coming last before going that far - I don't understand the revolving door attitude to recruitment of players and staff in this sport... it has me confused
