ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

there's an olyroo's game next week ???

I may have mis-spoke. GA said he was with the Olyroos next week and wouldn't be available. The Olyroos are competing in the Millennium Thang Long-Ha Noi Football Cup which celebrates 1000 years of the city of Hanoi from September 28 - October 2. They may be having a camp next week or playing a friendly - I can't seem to find anything.

3 - Bojic

2 - Rose

1 - McGlinchey

Just wondering, has there been any fallout from Dean Heffernan's tantrum at the end of the match? If I am not mistaken, Heffernan booted the ball into Bay 16 at the final whistle.

Congratulations to the Bay for relentlessly rattling the hell out of the Heart's three former Mariners!

What? Nothing for McBreen; the man who scored the goal that won us the match? And a fine header it was too. Anyway, you're certainly welcome to your view - I just find it a bit intriguing.

I had nothing fo McBreen either. Great header, but others put in more minutes of higher quality effort than he did. Griffiths was outstanding.

Was devastated Bolton saved mcbreens first effort ! Woulda been contender for goal of the year ! Also loving the service being given from the left side of boz and J-Ro ...really have gelled well ...wish boz would do some shooting practice though!

The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) - consisting of Barry Such (Chair), Simon Micallef and Alan Davidson - convened to consider the following incidents from Week 6:

The Red Card issued to Michael Beauchamp (Melbourne Heart) in or around the 52nd minute of the match against Central Coast Mariners on Friday. The player was issued with a R2 Red Card for his "Assault on a Player (e.g. violent conduct when not challenging for the ball)".

Following Melbourne Heart's submission of an "Obvious Error (Red Card) Application" seeking to challenge the Red Card issued to Beauchamp, the MRP upheld the red card. As a consequence the player is to serve a 2 match suspension which is the minimum sanction for this offence under the Hyundai A-League Disciplinary Regulations.

I couldn't bring myself to boo him off on Friday - so I suppose I would.

I have no problem what so ever giving it to any player for a warranted send off like with Beauchamp, but I really can't understand the "booing" of players during normal game play(which was constant whenever Heff got the ball atleast)that have served the club well in the past and left on amicable terms. Beauchamp left us for a more lucrative offer overseas, as did Heff from memory around the same time. Heff came back, served us well again, then has moved on to Heart. He obviously seen his career moving in a forward direction with the new club. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't remember either of them slandering the club or fans on their departure?? Aloisi on the other hand...

Nothing from the MRP for Heffernan, after booting the ball into the crowd in anger at the final whistle?

Didn't one of our players get a yellow card for doing the same thing a couple of years back?

Meh let heff go, he took the defeat very graciously in his post game interview and had nothing but praise for us, impressed with it to be honest
