Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

First 60 minutes - garbage.  Positively rubbish.  Not even worth talking about..... we all know it was shit.

The last half hour was                   - the equal of Round 1 away to Sydney last season.  Away games >>>>>>>>>>>> Home games.  Caceres and Simon = game changing machines.  Ball on the ground and fast fluid movement off the ball is the key to this team destroying all before them.  Here's to us carrying on with it.

Trust me.

When I say.......

YOUR.  SEASON'S.  OVER!!!    SHA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA!!!!!!!!!!!

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Sack whack has a dummy spit because a ball is kicked into the Squadrunts (probably would have found empty space by then), next time make it during the game as a "mis-directed" pass  :piralaugh:

Jedi was rather quiet last night I thought, and I got a little bit of confidence from the fact we seemed to win well without a lot of input from him.

Regarding the whole Hutcho thing, did anyone see Foxsports Full time last night?

As they have an hour of foxsports news the two hosts always talk about the sport they cover for ages. The two guys were just ripping into Joel Griffiths and the Jets saying "big deal, he just kicked the ball in the crowd", and "if the jets showed that sort of passion and intensity during the game and not after they may still be in contention for finals football".

They guys just kept going on and on about it. Was so funny.

Yeah I did see that!!!... and was so suprised at what they were saying , they gave em heaps....
when they said they needed to show that passion throughout the year, I just cracked up laughing..They really gave it to the scums, and I had never seen them guys do that before...

On the flare issue, yep may have looked great but not permitted under the FFA terms of admission simple as that
your also not meant to stand or disrespect a match official (dunno the exact wording etc).

FFA terms of admission.

Don't behave like football fans.

We are lucky the whole bay didn't get tossed for the boos coming at half time ;)

I must say that Griffith is the one that should have got a red!!..
He was the one that incited the whole anger incident, by the way he reacted at Hutcho's celebration...
Why does Griffith always get away with this kind of garbage?
And yet Macalister gets a red card for words?... I always see and hear plenty of players swearing on the pitch, during a game..
Why isn't that carded then?.. why should swearing after the game matter?

Its just like what the South Park movie teaches us... I can't remember the exact quote from the movie but is was something like "violence is OK as long as you dont say any naughty words".  We witnessed this last night.

Seconded.

The funniest part about the 11,000 crowd at EAS last night is that a good 2-3,000 would've been away fans.

I saw nothing wrong in what Hutcho did....
it was just a simply a celebration of winning...

As for the penalty.... what a joke... gump was the one that was being pulled down... not him pulling the scum down.
ohh well we won , and we were top of the ladder for a few hours.. heheheh
I'm just wrapped we beat the scum..... and I love that photo above of the griffith brothers... it makes me smile

yeah, nothing wrong with belting the ball into the crowd in an attempt to injure someone.

if the FFA are serious they will ban Hutcho for a few weeks.

he is a serial offender and requires punishment.

otherwise, let the Newcastle fans loose on him to teach him a lesson.
