    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Griffith had his hands around Hutcho's throat...tell me thats not threatening....farking tosser.

Matty simon's 5th yellow card of the season, which means one week off.

So could have 3 out if Mile knee is too sore?

Just back and to be fair, we wont ever play as badly again and get away with it.

Our support was possibly the best ever. We pwnd the scum and really f**king went for it after the game too. They had chants (that cant be repeated really) raining down on them and they hated it.

ps- Keensy, thats the 1 and only time we dig you out of the shit...........

While we're on the topic of the crowd and stadium...

1 - How can they justify the seizing of the trumpet? From the FFA terms of admission document:
8. Prohibited/Restricted Items The following is a non-exhaustive list of items that are prohibited by law and are not permitted to enter the Venue:
(a)illegal substances including controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs; and
(b)flares, fireworks, explosives and smoke bombs.

The following items are considered restricted and are not permitted to enter the Venue:
(a)alcoholic beverages;
(b)glass bottles, cans and breakable containers;
(c)weapons and missiles of any description;
(d)recreational equipment such as skateboards, rollerblades and bicycles;
(e)animals and pets (other than Assistance Dogs);
(f)laser pointers;
(g)non-accredited photographic equipment and recording devices for commercial purposes including audio and video equipment;
(h)confetti or shredded paper;
(i)flag poles composed of materials other than plastic or wood or greater than 1.5 metres in length;
(j)signs, banners, flags and clothing displaying offensive, political, National, racial or unauthorised commercial material;
(k)eskies, coolers and iceboxes too large to be stored under a seat; and
(l)any item determined by FFA or Venue Management that may cause injury, public nuisance or which is deemed dangerous to fellow spectators.

9. Prohibited/Restricted Activities - The following is a non-exhaustive list of activities that are restricted or prohibited within the Venue and participation in such activities may result in eviction:
(a)smoking (other than in a designated area);
(b)displaying commercial or offensive signage;
(c)throwing objects of any description;
(d)the use of racist or offensive language;
(e)storage of equipment or standing/sitting in aisles or walkways; and
(f)unauthorised soliciting and customer surveying.
Looking at that listing above, apart from public nuisance (which could be used against anyone in a Jets shirt), there is absolutely no violation of the terms of admission.
That being said, I must congratulate the stadium security for swiftly ridding the front of our bay of the sh*tstirring 12yr olds and later in the game booting them out.

2 - Seriously, your stadium is sponsored by the region's primary electricity provider. Surely you could keep the scoreboard in operation - hell even the Big screen stopped working close to fulltime. I ended up keeping time on my phone in the second half FFS!

3 - Get a better "traffic flow" plan happening with patrons leaving at fulltime. While I understand turning Mariners fans away from the direction of the Squadron in some respects is a smart idea, informing fans at the conclusion they must complete a FULL LAP of the stadium in order to return to their car is nothing short of a joke. All it achieves is pushing the problems that might've occured in the stadium to the car park or Newcastle streets where it's no longer the stadium's responsibility. Here's the tip Newcastle - your players need a course in how to win football games, and your stadium management needs a course in how practically and fairly manage a stadium.

Only Adam Griffiths' 6th minute yellow is listed for the scum. If the A-League site is anything to go by, Matty is free to play NYE.

They better appeal Dylan's decision.

Hey! Me too!

Overall great night, desperately needed win. And weird. Flare :redcard:

I thought as soon as Hutcho booted the ball into the Squadron, "that wasn't smart". I guess he does have some history with them. The coin throwing and stuff. He probaby heard fkack from them during the game, they have a specific hate for him:

Dylan ought to know that running 40 metres to get into an onfield blue, even after the game has bee completed AND WON, never does anybody any good.

According to the article on SMH, Macca was sent off for Abusive language which IMO it is f*cking retarted for him to be sent off because surely he wasn't the only one using abusive language.
Lawrie also said that he is interested to see if action is taken against the Jets and the c*nt in particular for having his hands around the throat of Hutcho.
F*ck I love derbies!!!!!

Obviously the flare wasn't a good idea from a security perspective, but having seen Scum fans, Sydney fans and Melbourne fans all let them off in their time, no problem from me.

On the bus home as we were leaving the car-park these Scummers thought they would be funny and go put a construction barrier in front of the bus, then go grab a road barrier and do it again after the bus driver remonstrated with them. There was nearly a blue between these Scummers and a Mariners fan who saw what they were doing.

All up, the singing tonight was awesome! As was the result. I always thought the Mariners would come back from being 1-0 down (bullshit penalty btw). Fark it's great to leave there with the 3 points. Especially singing "We are top of the League!" and knowing they are on the bottom for another week at least!

Great game and result, marred by the red card though. Fantastic goals by Sasho and Matty.

Message to whoever threw that flare - you are very lucky I didn't see you do it.  :redcard:
