ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Very dodgy performance but thank God we got out of jail.  The penalty decision was probably the worst i've ever seen in 30 odd years of Footy.

Danny...MOM performance.  Top Job.
Porter...he is a terrible defender..terrible! But I guess he's in the team for his attacking attributes. For mine should be dropped for Clarke atm.
Wilko...solid effort but no Sammer going forward with the ball LOL.
Bojic..solid effort
Heffo...rustier than the tin man and was looking woeful until good tackle on Song gave him confidence and he actually started to play like he can. Looking forward to good work for the rest of the season.
Gumps...nothing to write home about. Tried hard but ineffective.
Jedi...average for him.
Hutcho...average.
Osman...waste of space as usual
Sasho...poor apart from quality finish from superb Sonic cross
Macca...Ok.

Simon...looked our best striker by a mile.  Well done son great goal and good movement.
Caceras..better when he was on but needs to go to shooting practice more
Clarke...good professional job.

We lack guile, class, compusure and quality BUT we are still a handful for any side. Coaches nightmare for both teams!

hey i sat at the southern hill with my newy mates and i swear to u i was the only mariner supporter, all i heard the first half was, sasho's a girls name. they said nothing after he scored, i went off and everyone newy bogan was eyeing me off to put on their campfire (as they have not heard of bbq, yet alone electricity) and when they that majestic, yet slighty gumby frame of simon poped up and showed his class that we all as mariners supporters can be proud of, as we nutured his talent, showed a quality finish, it was ectasy, bliss, never done herion before but i bet the feeling was equal if not more delightful, and there was nothing but silence, and that was my cue, to stand up and yell out "2-1 to the mariners, 2-1 to the mariners" and then i was tackled by all my mates who go for the jets, what a night, i say what a night and thank u very much u yellow warroirs from the mighty coast

P.S Did not see what happened after the game, as i was at the bottom of a stacks on but i bet that j griffiths had something to do with it and like the little faggot he is got his brother (allegedly his twin that looks nothing like him, because his mother is u know what) had to fight his battles for him)

3 points and top 4 here we are to stay

lawries quote was 'one of them starts handbags at ten paces, and twenty players get involved so i dont know why he cards two of our players'

joelgriffiths clearly swings at hutcho, if this new video tribunal thing doesnt slam him (like its got a few players so far this season), ill be ticked off.

but still, two newcastle players injured, their captain's farewell spoiled, their season heading towards the wooden spoon, but above all 3 points, i think its a good nights work

@blast: I doubt it, depending on what Peter O'Wanker lists as the offense. If it's something we can show didn't happen, then yes; but the benefit of the doubt will go to the referee's decision.

Do we have a good chance to get Dylan's red overturned?

Everything has a chance.

I just saw the replay of the incident on Fox.  McAllister walks past the ref and is mouthing of something as he gets in towards the huddle, where he is pushed back.  He didn't take a swing at anyone.

The only thing I can reason is that O'Leary must have told him to stay out and he ignored him and mouthed off to the newy players.

Now this would be covered under "Using offensive or insulting or abusive language and/or gestures" but as offensive or insulting goes, it seems pretty piss weak at this time.

Is it even within the rules for the ref to red card a player after the full time whistle is blown?

wouldn't he of been telling everyone to keep out of it?

Yeh, so the remaining players in both teams will be given 1 week off as the "incident wasn't dealt with on the field". All except sackwhacker of course.

If Hutch drove the ball low and hard at them, then I think he would of went too far!

The fact is he kicked it no different then the free balls that are given away at BT.

Griffith just couldn't help himself.

What about when a tennis player lobbs the ball into the crowd or when champagne is sprayed all over the bloke that comes second or third at F1....where does it stop.

If Hutcho's kick was an effence, then he would of got a card...the fact that he didn't means that if JG controlled his temper, nothing would have happened.

Just back and to be fair, we wont ever play as badly again and get away with it.

Our support was possibly the best ever. We pwnd the scum and really f**king went for it after the game too. They had chants (that cant be repeated really) raining down on them and they hated it.

ps- Keensy, thats the 1 and only time we dig you out of the shit...........

you're seasons over
