Belting the ball into the crowd? Hutcho's a wanker but he kicked the ball away at the end of the game, and regardless of intent - it is NOT justification for Joel to start threatening, pushing, fighting and choking. Piss off back to your whinging forum post-haste.

yeah, nothing wrong with belting the ball into the crowd in an attempt to injure someone.

if the FFA are serious they will ban Hutcho for a few weeks.

Hahaha, you sir, are an idiot.  Should they ban our entire squad for doing the same thing pre-game at Bluetongue??  It was lobbed ridonculously high into the air, you could see it coming a mile away.

Now I don't like Hutch, but it was f*cking funny, and no less than that pack inbreeding little shits deserve.  In derbies like this one, rules are out the window.  Stay home if you don't like it

I must admit, as much as I hate the scum I have not been in the direct firing line of the squadron like Hutch has. They throw bottles and coins at him and I'm sure he must have heard of the bodily fluids they were plotting to bomb him with this week on their forum.

Must have felt great to put up with that crap and then put the final nails in their season's coffin, hear the final whistle and conveniently have a projectile at your feet right at that moment.

Surely we can all picture his line of thought in that situation.

Like sash's shirtless celebration in the 3-0 home semi, he knows it;s an offence but a risk worth taking for a moment of joy.

However Hutch probably wasn't expecting the reaction that followed and the unpredictable way it would be dealt with by the officials.

Worst game of football that I have EVER seen. I had relatives over from the UK and I was embarrassed to watch.

LM what were you thinking playing Os on the left flank and Hutch at ATM... diabolical selections. There is no question now about favouritism. Its a f**king joke! I'd be calling for his sacking if we lost this.

Why sub Gumps for Matty and not Osman can someone tell me this? I laugh when ever I think of Miron saying "yeah we should get Osman from the Mariners" Can't wait till he's gone his air swing in the first half when he landed on his ass was priceless

First half was so uninspiring and the second wasn't too much better expect for some class from Heff and flat out determination from MS.

Thank God we got out of jail though. Matt Simon you are a legend. Foxsports Fantay A league has him as receiving a yellow so who knows.

Lawrie needs to do something for NYE coz we are playing hopeless.

Didn't see any flares on TV but whats the problem? They look great!

FFS, we beat scum in scum to bundle them out of any slim finals hope they had and all you do whine and whinge

osman was miles better than gumpy in the game and the sub worked

you bring nothing positive to this forum - ever

Of course your right, lets all select a team with the intention of falling behind to then make subsitutions to put us back in the game. It makes total sense now that you put it like that!!!  :headbutt:

I wish I knew half of what you think you know.

What ??? Had you told them how vastly superior A-League V4 is now compared with EPL and now feel you've got egg on your face?
Come from behind derby win over our arch-enemies, gorgeous Australian summer evening, Away Bay camaraderie not enough for you?

I thought the first 50/60 minutes were some of the worst football I have seen us play EVER. Couldnt string 2 passes together, panic, hoof.

However, to say Lawrie picked a side with the intent of playing that way is just plain silly TBH. It didnt work, he changed it and we won (quite easily TBH).

You're seasons over sha la la la la

Why does Griffith always get away with this kind of garbage?
And yet Macalister gets a red card for words?... I always see and hear plenty of players swearing on the pitch, during a game..

If it is for offensive/abusive/insulting language, then I can only assume that it was directed at the ref or something completely over the top was said to one of the jets.

The amount of diving at that game was embarassing.  It was like watching Sth Korea play Sth Korea.

The twat who lit that flare should give himself an uppercut.

Good job by the Marinators though - made a lot of noise all math, even when we were losing.  I honestly didn't hear a single thing from the Jets - even when we were quiet.  I certainly didn't hear the 'New-car-smell!' chant.  As much as we hate it, it IS a chant that the entire stadium usually got involved in.

We were lucky to win that, IMO.  Jets were far more confident than us (which they usually are in the derby), but they had no right to be.  We gave away way too many easy balls all over the park.  Danny made some great saves.  McAllister was just lazy.  I nearly fell over when I saw Sasho run about 50m with the ball :p

After watching the replay I do agree with the penalty - Gumps had a pretty blatant hold of his shirt, and the little tug back was enough to put him off balance, which is all you need for a foul.  When you grab a hold of somebody's shirt you're asking for trouble - why do it in your own box?

Lol@ griffiths celebrating the goal like they actually earnt it.
Very disappointing to see that, as usual, the jets start it all but cop no cards.  Reminiscent of the big scuffle at the end of the grand final.

So Hutcho's carrying on the rubbish that the squadron start?  Realy flapping mature.

Although if the FFA had some balls and came down like a ton of bricks when they started throwing things on the field (which has clearly been caught on camera - REPEATEDLY) then this would all be over.  Still, I guess the FFA is happy for things to get thrown at players.  Gives people something to talk about.  You know, publicity and all that.

Am I the only one sick of Hutcho's repeated diving?  It's fkn embarassing.  I despise cheating like that and the clowns who do it repeatedly.  Much like joel griffiths and Song, every time he came near an opponent he got tired and wanted to lie down.

Although he's that bloody rubbish that the off chance of 'winning' a free kick may well be the only contribution he'll actually make on the field.

and on the walk to the station being countered by;
'What  colours a bucket of piss, yellow, yellow'....

The dive in the 1st half when A Griffiths and he were running for the ball was just plain embarrassing.

Ref went straight for the card and pointed at Dylan so it possibly was aimed at the ref?

You forgot Osman.    It wasn't his worst effort but for mine the sooner he goes the better!
