ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Its a forum, people can post whatever they like (within limits of course) and are free to express their opinion.

If you dont like it, you can always scroll past it.

If you have 2 people watching the same game from the same viewpoint and ask them their opinion, you will get a disagreement.

Thats football.

incorrect....everyone must always agree with "the remaining voices on this forum with any sense"

Accusing people of political correctness is usually the last resort of the ignorant.

Mick you and Chris are the last remaining voices on this forum with any sense.

Big call mate

Bloody HUGE call!    :p

I thought a couple of voices of reason in the wilderness could use some support.

How is the fishing going?

Gearing up for a big season, trout were uncooperative last month.

Guys, lets not start that shit again please.

Pub conversations conducted via a forum are always going to get ugly so it seems.

Perhaps someone can explain why I can have a conversation over a beer along the lines of "he's just shit" "no he isnt, he makes a great contribution" etc etc and it never gets firey?

. mostly agree, but two of things that annoy me most about this place is people continually repeating their view (rightly or wrongly) and people continually asking questions about something clearly discussed/resolved a few posts above

. asking people to skip reading posts because they don't agree makes the situation even worse (imho). to form a view and encourage discussion you need to read what you are discussing/arguing

. and ursus, i readily admit to only watching the game live (or away games at the club) ... limited in all other regards  :D ;D. but agree that the amount of crap is on the increase

Because here your voice is not cnfined to a couple of mates but is shared with, the players, the scum, the journos and anyone else who cares to log on.

People are entitled to their opinions and imo Hutch has been below the high standards he set in the CM role last season (prior to which he was used either wide left of up front).

IMO he has not had too many bad games this season where he has given the ball away alot, but has seemed to have lost some of the more attacking flair that was shown in abundence last season - maybe it's the 4-3-3 that has been used a lot this season to accomodate the 4 strikers but something is a little off in his creative game. It hasn't disappeared completely as I recall that he played the great ball through for Simon in Sydney which started our come back.

He hasn't lost his passion for the club either, as both the Squadron on Boxing Day and the people on Level 5 post the Wellington home have seen - but something aint quite right...

strongly disagree, i think you are just finally having ppl speak up with their opinion..instead of just the ppl who know all about football...

ppl who are new to football will turn on a out of form player very quickly

(I'm practising at the moment)

On to the topic, I think different views are great but don't expect that no one will challenge you on them ... they will - 10% of the forum will agree, 10% will disagree, then 50% will think but not type, 20% won't have the foggiest what it is all about, and the remaining 10% just want to rabbit on about the frigging EPL or SPL!
