ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Maybe the mods should post a sticky of the agreed opinions of the players?

You know, the accepted myths

Danny = hothead
Matty = Saint Simon of the CC

etc etc

Would make it simpler for people, expecially newbies.

We can also have details of how we feel about past players?

Well it is common knowledge that Vuko Tomasevic is the greatest player to ever wear the shirt and his number should be retired in honour of him.

Well........Leo Carle had the number before Vuko, and NO ONE has dared to wear that number SINCE (#14). Maybe it's more jinxed than retired, lol.

disagree....carle was just keeping it warm whilst vuko was off for a year helping old ladies cross roads, feeding the homeless etc etc. True gentleman he was

We need to agree on a past legend who's name can be dropped into any discussion.

Example being:

"f**k me if <insert name of departed legend> was playing he would make a difference".

Everyone is now in instant agreement and can recall past exploits.

See how easy it is :)

Mick you and Chris are the last remaining voices on this forum with any sense.

I am amazed at the numbers here,
who watch the game once (see maybe 50%),
have no access to tapes,
have no access to players,
have no access to training,
have no experience at higher level football (or no experience at all),
and then pile shit on Lawrie's methods.

Unfortunately this forum is being taken over by the loud and ignorant.

while i understand and slightly agree with what your saying, your intellectual elitism is just as guilty for bringing down the standard of the forum.

p.s not going to have an argument with you about it, no point as i dont think you have ever been wrong in your life.

It has to be erstwhile fan favourite Wayne "Cut Sick Sully" O'Sullivan.
With his debonair accent, movie star good looks, his silky skills and passionate determination he embodies the quentissential Mariner's hero.

On the whole Mariners/Jets saga there have been a few threads on the Jets forum which have caught my eye..

Alot of speculation about Petrovski signing for Newcastle?? In alot of threads theres word of it? Anyone on here heard anything about it?  http://newcastlefootball.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6406

And also, this ;D -    http://newcastlefootball.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6416

lol, on the scum forums they are trying to create a story about the ball that was kicked into the squadran by hutcho. That it hit "some guy just got stitches after liver surgery and the ball hit him and it burst open". Few questions:

1. Who can afford any kind of surgery there?
2. Why would a guy that obviously just got out of hospital be at a football game?

Anyway, we won & they are at the bottom!!!

BTW Brennan, I had already posted that link about 1 hour ago :D http://marinators.net/forum/index.php?topic=2857.0

Now now Clarence, this forum is no place for logic and reason, you should know that.  ;)

BTW, talking about logic and reason, where's your SERIOUS MATCH REVIEW? :tv:

Football Manager never lies.....

P.S.  Match Review = first hour was diabolical garbage.  A PRO-ACTIVE tactical change and subsequent substitutions was the spark for a memorable derby win.

Certain players were rubbish as usual.  :p

Serious, I know that Football Manager screen shot is a mock up. You wouldn't have Hutchinson in your team if you were Manager!

No word of a lie, it's a real pic......

I couldn't find a decent CM on the cheap before the window shut, and Owens is still injured.
