ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

As soon as I saw Williams coming on I almost posted. Always causes trouble. Ahhh shit... Austin so unlucky.

Only way we're going to win this is by breaking Mooys leg.

And we conceded a goal the exact same way we've conceded every goal this season. Not marking in the centre of the pitch. How the hell were our defensive line jogging back, watching the ball that was already past them????? 2 very lazy players that need to be asked 'WTF????' on that one.

This is U/12 stuff. Our back line is destroying us.

Roux has been horrible. Too many unnecessary fouls letting them off the hook when we're attacking or earlier on giving them opportunities they shouldn't have in our half.

Even that goal that was offside. Defenders walking when players were unmarked. Very, very lazy defenders. I'm getting really angry at just how lazy one or two of our players actually are in defence. If they're not interested in playing football, piss them off for somebody who is. I'm sure there are plenty of defenders who aren't afraid to get a little out of breath.

Rose in particular is killing us today. Did he have a couple of sneaky lunchtime beers or something???

Entertaining... but if you're too loose you just make the other team look even more entertaining and you lose to boot... bottom line if we don't consistently take our chances, how many can we hope to win like this...? o_O

To be honest as soon as we go 1 down away from home I can see it being a struggle to get anything this season.

How good is Mooy.

A lot of penetration, but a bit of luck and a bit more composure required. Ferreria excellent match. Fitzy also. Izzo did well. Our balance isn't quite right - though I still like the intent. Better losing like that than under Moss.

3-1 if Walmsley goes on about attacking football after this......:headbutt::headbutt::headbutt:
I disagree. there's nothing at all wrong with the attacking style of play we have. The goals were purely defenders not doing their job. It wasn't an issue of suffering from a stretched out playing field, having players too far forwards. The defenders just aren't doing what they're supposed to be doing. Marking, ball watching, strolling, basic stuff.

Agree. Score could easily have been reversed in our favour. I'm willing to give TW time to sort out the defence.
Hopefully we get a CB in the next transfer period.

100% percent correct. The two fullbacks are the worst defenders in HAL.

Which is remarkably like last season under Moss.
TW has made it his mantra to play attacking Football which is all well and good , but you still need to look after things when you don't have possession.

Miles ahead of Moss.
We're playing a bunch of kids, give them time and maybe one or two astute signings and we'll be much better.
