ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

1-5. Austin earnt/scored a pen. Mooy slapped one in right at the end way too easily.

Roux went off at 77mins with concussion so we were down to 10 for the last 15 minutes.

*sigh*... probably have to admit that I'm reaching that point now... the one where at least we've unearthed Austin, Posco has improved a lot and McGing is showing a bit of promise. So there's that. I also gave to say that I thought Liam Rose showed some promise in the second half after being a bit shaky in the start.
But i don't hold out much hope for the rest of the season anymore :-(

We need matt simon back he'd do a far more better job than duke @ scoring.
He wouldn't, and I don't blame Roy either. I think Roy would be carving it up in another team right now so I feel a bit sorry for him.

As I've said before we are too thin and too young to compete at A league level right now. Youth policy is great but it needs to be mixed with experience. Sainsbury did so well because he had Zwaanswijk next to him to learn from. 3, 4 maybe even 5 young guys in the starting 11 is ok if you have the experience around them to build them up and educate them. A bunch of kids together and nobody really learns all that much - despite getting schooled by the opposition - defeating the purpose of having them there to develop them and sell them on.

The sad result is no one has been entertained the last couple of games. This trend is more likely to lose fan and the club $. Yes key players have been out but it just shows how thin we really are. I don't blame the players or the coaches - they're all giving it 110%. Fingers crossed we can turn it around against perth.

I honestly don't know where to begin ... it's all right to play attacking football but you also need to defend ...

Feel for the backs as they had no cover in the centre of the park.

Worst I feel we are no longer a competitive team at A_League level TBH I can't think of anything positive to say I don't see us turning this around until we get some more quality in the team ..... I can see crowds starting to fall ...

Two of our group of five .... the other 4 are in Sydney did not come tonight .... driving over an hour each way as a large percentage of our members do needs something to invest that time in ...

Terrible pathetic effort.

Back 4 woeful, especially Roux.
Izzo is not Liam reddy standard. good sweeper but that's all.
Midfield woeful. Ashcroft probably the best and he is not a middy by any stretch.
Roy is wasteful.
the only player to come out of that game with any credit is Austin.
I will watch a replay then give my opinion.

I blame Roy tonight. Two easy one on ones and two good crosses he could have got on the end of with a diving header.
