We were horrible. Should have been buried SFC style in 1st half.

The gaps between midfield and the full backs was massive.

Jumpie had so much space and isolated Roux, no mid's to cover and make it a two on one.

Fab was back to bludging.

Galloway should have let Martinez drift inside where the cover was coming from and taken the wing run by Santalab. Much better defensively than Neill. Couple more games will help him.

Monty wasn't missed I'm afraid.

Connar poor touch before the shot stuffed it. The picture of the bench said it all.

4 missed had balls. You only get that when you are as shit as we were last year.

Thought Roy was lucky not to see Red in 1st half. Last year definitely Red.

As for Ned Zelic he makes me more sick than our defence

We were ordinary but we missed Monty a lot. Apart from the goal I don't think I saw Berry at all. The Wanderers should have been 3 nil up at half time.
We were shit. Luckily the drive bys are shit as well.

Positives....both full backs actually defended.
Izzo......improving a lot.
Paddy's guts got us a goal out of nothing.
pain missed a sitter after a superb ball by ?
The handball by Clisby was f**king blatant.
A win to us would have been a travesty but we are taking baby steps forward.

Easy to say that about a lot of goals. The point is, they both put the pressure on the keeper - would have been easy for either of them to not bother, or him to just leave it for Roy. It was a mistake from them, but we still needed 2 players to do some work to capitalise.

Every player, played to their ability IMO tonight... when Pasco's back and if we get a decent 10, we could go a lot better than many forecast.. Okon could be the best signing in Hal this year..

Are you serious? Everything that looked like a bit of an opportunity for us in the first half, came from him - not to mention a couple of the ones in the second. I think a point is reasonable, especially because I also think his actions directly lead to Storm Roux's points haul... Not sure Roux deserved three, just can't think of anyone who deserved it more... He did a reasonable job in defence and did well going forward and linking with Fabio.

Not that I disagree about his abilities - or the rolling around as such, although Faty was carrying that for 10 minutes after and the commentators mentioned that he was bleeding - that's either some serious injury or he actually hurt himself in the tackle.

In general though, "don't put down to malice that which can be explained by incompetence" - I think the foul count and lack of cards more than proves that Shaun Evans is just an incompetent fool, more than a WSW tool (even if he IS a tool of a different kind).

Berry was invisible.
I also wasnt hugely happy with Taveras.
Monty's passing is suspect at times but his screening is crucial and at least he tries to create rather than a pointless 10 yrd sideways or backwards pass.

He set up more than one of those balls that none ran onto - I hardly think that was his fault though.
I didn't think Trent got to the ball anywhere near enough to be wasteful though - which disappointed me a bit. however i was happy to see him with a decent defensive clearance late in the game, that's not been a common experience when watching our team in the last couple of years.
Much as I like young Rose I also remain to be convinced that he can do the job at CAM while we're at it although i think he was put on much too late to show much of anything.

Given that Powell is not really a #10 and is really acting as a second striker and that Fab is now starting on the right is it worth considering Trent for the Powell role. He has the speed to follow into the box from deeper and has an eye for goal.

For those who regularly watch the NYL and academy games has he ever played in that sort of role.

On another note - Izzo had a strong game - really seems to have laid his demons from last year to rest. Still looking for a string of clean sheets though

The away active bay is just that. Fans are entitled to be standing, chanting and enjoying the game.

The fact that home fans purchased tickets into the away supporters active bay then had the nerve to complain that those away fans were getting in their way... and you want to bag our supporters from behind your keyboard?

This was a great opportunity to display a bit of "kinship" with your fellow fans but you'd rather sit on your arse and go tut-tut about young people having a drink and a laugh (and getting harassed by Wanderers fans as it turns out)
