ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Izzo's been great so far tonight but I doubt he'll get too much credit. Some key saves and much better positioning & decision making IMO

SSSSSHHHH... I was trying not to jinx it! If they score now, it's your fault!

Third clear handball pen we haven't been given this season. f**k I hate #ALeagueRefs

In fairness they're supposed to be deliberate - it's just that the unnatural position tends to lead to it being considered deliberate... So I guess it's just the rub of the green.

The off-sides on Buhagiar are getting frustrated though, we've lost more than one clear-cut opportunity through him being called on a dubioius offside.

I think that offside was right.
But as for the DHB....when the arm is in an unnatural position, yeah, as you say, that's typically sufficient for it to be deliberate. no reason for the arm to be there, so FK. Off the top of my head I'm having a hard time trying to think of a scenario where it could be unnatural position but still not DHB

Pretty good display.

Very happy for the Mariners fans who traveled down. They must have been thinking the worst after
a couple of minutes.

I'm sure "unnatural position" got mentioned when Melbourne City were given their penalty last night.

2 draws, 2 losses, not on the bottom of the ladder.
Things could definitely be worse.
We'd conceivably be in the top 4 if it wasn't for these goddamn penalty claims.

Ach... I'll take it... Connor needs to find his target boots as well but I suppose it's not a loss - one step further away from the spoon, with a chance to put distance between ourselves and Adelaide next week (as if).

Now I'll say it - gotta say Izzo's improved a whole lot this season, down to single digits int he number of brain farts for the last two games... Getting into Galekovic and Reddy territory with that.

Away from home against the Wanderers, that's a great result. Definitely starting to see Okon's patterns of play starting to emerge. Some stylish stuff happening. A little lucky that they didn't score a few easy ones, but clearly robbed of the penalty. Still not clicking up front fully - very slim pickings, but we're starting to penetrate more, so a good sign.

A point away? I'll always take that!

Thought I'd just point this stat out, in reference to how we got out of jail on Roy's tackle:

WSW CCM
20 Fouls 12

we've seen worse tackles than roy's see no red card. Much worse this season.
So, while i think he was lucky to stay on, it wasn't a screamer of a bad decision, IMO.

Great point away from home. WSW are in all sorts early on. They'll probably come good but geez...
