ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Fab and Fletch have swspped flanks.

For the first 15mins we look a lot more patient when in possession.

Just need to see play 'switch' a bit more often and quicken up the ball speed when passing.

The free kick was taken miles from the foul.
What was izzo doing?
Why when we get a free kick in that position do we pass it around and it ends up back with izzo?
just kick it in the box!

Monty's turned over quite a bit of possession in that first-half, both whilst on the ball and passing.

I remember in training, for attacking we'd have our back to goal, ball would come in behind us, we'd have to run up, find the goal and take a shot.
I feel like Izzo also needs to do that. For, like, a week. He has absolutely no f****** idea where the goal is. That last goal? No attempt whatsoever to save it - he thought it was going to miss. He has let in a LOT of goals thinking they were going to miss.

I'd rather have HB back and develop him for a season. Izzo hasn't improved all season - HB was improving each game and wasn't that far behind Izzo. Superior in some ways.

Of course, Montgomery looking like he was afraid of the ball didn't help matters much either.

Even their first goal, zero attempt by Izzo. Don't get me wrong, our defensive line is as pathetic as always, but teams that have a keeper who actually tries to stop the ball certainly have an advantage.
At least he looked like he made an attempt on the second goal.
I feel like Izzo and our defenders all thought it would be a fun experiment to play the game on Valium or something, only explanation I have for those 3 goals.

I don't think it was Izzo didn't know where the goal was. He just didn't bother. Maybe wrong footed. Danny Vukovic was much the same. Made very little effort and threw his arms up.
