ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

R11 CCM v WSW at Gosford

Back to the actual football. I’ve watched the first half.

This time WSW switched the ball back towards our left past all out retreating players. Wout goes switches to the runner instead if the ball. I can understand that decision but the ball needed to cut off and the runner would have had a tighter angle.

Agree but what hasn't had been said is that Wout was in two minds because he was caught trying to cover two players because our left back was not back yet.

We should have just had a riot and a pitch invasion to call off the match. At least it used to be fun!! ......and cathartic too. Sadly at Leeds we sometimes took it too far and we were banned from all away games for a couple of seasons.
Invading the pitch honestly crossed my mind.

Some bloke asked me if i was willing to go on the pitch with him. i laughed and said no......but i didnt mean it! I was steaming and looking for the foxtel box but told him no i just want to chat with the ref as he comes off.

I can't support the walkout. Badly done, Yellow Army.

Well, you're clearly in the minority. I think the ratings against your post (which appear to be mostly from people who aren't regulars in bay 16) tell you all you need to know. Badly done? How so? We walked out in protest of the absolute farce that game had descended into - not against the club or the players. The club is aware of that and supported our actions.

Firstly, I thought WSW were the better team on the night and deserved the win. They pressed high and hard and really disrupted our midfield, very clinical catching us on the break twice.

I have watched us play poorly, get flogged and play some ugly boring football over the years but I have never walked out early until that second VAR decision Saturday night. I have never supported the use of VAR before this despite some pretty poor officiating over the years as well. I left the ground seething, can’t watch the replay or get interested in the media debate or anything to do with the A League anymore. It’s taken me this long to log on and read the reaction of others.

Despite being a foundation member and season ticket holder, FFA have really farked this up to the extent I am not interested in going to the next game or watching any other A League games on Foxtel. The only reason I have Fox is for the A League.

I love CCM and the opportunity to watch top flight football in Gosford but if the VAR remains next season I question whether I will renew. The stagnation of a ten team competition already had me somewhat bored, it may be that I focus my love of football by more involvement in the local league and watching overseas leagues.

Terminal fail FFA, beyond disappointed.

Missed the game, not really interested in watching the replays (of course I will though). My fiance isn't a football fan but watches the Mariners when I'm not there. She was incensed, turned it off. She'd even been wearing my S1 star trek kit as a show of support.

Also, if you want to avoid paying for Fox, get a VPN (very, very simple to do - https://windscribe.com/), and sign up for $4.99/mo at OZ.com. All the games in HD, all legal (for you worried nerds/Dibo). Has all the replays, too.

Can see why your marring her, sounds like a keeper.

When (emphasis on the 'when') Bay 16 returns, we should all belt this out while pointing up towards the Western Grandstand:

Da da da da da-
Daaaaa
Daaaaa
Who's up there?

Da da da da da-
Daaaaa
Daaaaa
Who's up there?

etc etc

Why do you feel the need to emphasise the "when"? We've not alluded to any sort of boycott so please don't try and make something more out of the walk-out on Saturday.

For the absolute avoidance of doubt, we'll be back on NYE. We've been working too hard on some stuff behind the scenes to let it go to waste.

Good to know it's business as usual on NYE. I didn't want to speak on behalf of Bay 16 without knowing what they'd decided to go for the next home game...
