Jets got the late win against Adelaide tonight, really need to start building up some positive form, I consider finishing above them this season as the highest priority.

I seem to recall McGing playing as a DM in the Yoof as well.

Yep, he was. That's why he is sloppy in that crucial moment. When you are a defender from an early age who know you can't give an inch, or not put the challenge in for the header. Converted middies are always soft.

Adelaide made us look smart as a defensive unit. They were woeful front to back defensively.

Its to early for the Hunter Reds ... so its not the drink effecting this post...

I think we are going to win...

Everything says we loose, we never beat Brisbane, they stole the grand final from us with an illegal hack...

Me thinks they are going to take it to lightly ....

Taken from SBS interview with Okon, it says ""' Central Coast have made more passes than any other team this season and boast the second best passing accuracy (80.3 per cent) behind Melbourne City (80.5 per cent)."""

I would be tempted to move Roy to 10, and have Powell as the striker would weaken our attack but I think improve our control of the midfield.

The Scum were murdered in the possession stats last night. Yet they won by scoring two goals, had a dozen shots on goal, and sit in the Top 6.

Something in that for us maybe?

Most of that possession and passing is in the back third probably.
I'd rather us be top of the stats for shots on target and balls in the box etc.....

They never looked like winning last night. Hoole butchered 100 chances and Nordstrand finally capitalised in the dying seconds - with a goal that shouldn't have been awarded.

Basically if we want to win this, it'll have to be arsey.

No way they will move Roy I think.

The only squad change I'm uncertain about is whether Berry and Rose will get a start alongside Monty and Powell in the middle. I expect Trent will come back in for Fab - though Fab is a quality player and he needs to get into form, so maybe Okon will persevere.

Nothing to lose in this game. We are not expected to win. If we lose we stay in 9th. If we win we rise to 8th. However, we will on the same number of points as 5th.

4 tough games coming up. We could come out with zero points ... or we could surprise everyone. I'm not expecting miracles, I just want us to be hard to break down in those 4 weeks. If we can do that we can always steal couple of wins.

hmm, once again I will alllow my optimism to crap all over my common sense , we can win this , we can...of course we can
seriously, sure we got all sorts of leading stats on possession, hopefully this week , we can turn approx half that possession into shots on with a good percentrage of scoring shots...#COYY #CCM4Life

Love that post Recky :overheadl:

This is football - there's always a chance. If we're fearless in attack and life or death in defence - we'll give it a decent crack.

We need to contain Roars counter attack or they will ship at least 4 past us. Need a super strong defensive performance today and hope to snag a goal and then anything is possible. Such a bogey team though however 2016 is the year of surprises and hope it's our turn before the year ends.

Lots of chatter about this game... 2 hours to kick off and not a whisper since 10am on game day. Morale is pretty low right now unfortunately.
