ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Player movements 2013/2014

Monty dropped in for Pedj pretty regularly, though the transition *back* to RB wasn't always smooth - a couple of times there was a "he's yours" "no, wait he's yours" moment.

I think it gets harder to cover too, if Pedj pulls so far into the middle, he effectively drags more opposition players with him. So Monty can't really fall out to cover, as both he and Hutch are still needed in their normal position - that's where the ball is.
If Pedj was staying ont he edge, at least there should be a chance that he can help hold on to his own player.

Dunno - I was just a bit surprised at how far he went walkabout the other day...

agreed that Zac is solid and will prove tremendous next season. I expect the same from Fitzy. Really we are rich in quality youth combined with quality coaching, also quality older guys, quality attackers, quality mid-field...i have to stop somewhere but could keep going. i got started writing this and found myself grinning by the end of it. can't wait for next season! such awesome potential

thing about Pedj is he seems to be distracted, not hard to guess why. i rate him, but if he is just going to stay distracted and put in random performances then i'm happy for him to go.
if he genuinely wants to go to the smurfs then i actively don't want him at the mariners. no mariner should ever WANT to go to the floppy bling or to the scum

Because we won't get a fee if Pedj goes to Sydney I thought it only fair that we get a player in exchange, so I had a look -
Goalkeeper? Janjetovic, Nicevski -Nah.
Defenders - Nah, they haven't got any
Middies? Nah

In fact Sydney has no one worth swapping Pedj for - says a lot about where they finished doesn't it?

Pedj is no great loss.
Gone will be the invisable wall extending from the 18 yard box to the sideline.
Gone will be the bumbling long runs.
Gone will be the crap crosses.
Gone will be the crap shots ( yeah he scored a few but the law of probability says he should )
Gone will be the endless pass backs when other options are available.
Gone will be my whinging about him

I`m starting to miss him already...:overheadl:

Yes, but all after he had just stuffed up and was trying to right his wrongs, commendable in a striker running back to his own 18 yard box for sure. But for a right back ending up on the left wing... Not so much.

Sydmariner, re my RB pick for HAL all stars, Franjic. Then Pedj/Polenze.

Yairo Yau is no longer at Sydney FC.
He was only on loan.

I liked him...dynamic, exciting etc.
But we don't need him (but Sydney do)
