Lol facebook has been interesting these past 24 hours. Further proof that Jetscum are a little slow in the upstairs dept. Here is a fb contact of mines' update and the ensuing comments:

(Scum Fan #1's status): 1-0 and u fked it up

SCUM FAN 2: Cause they hopeless

COASTIE: ROFL

SCUM FAN 1: u got that right even there fans tryed to start shit as we were going over the bridge to macas

SCUM FAN 2: Hahaha. Should've stomped the counts, might have been a bit outnumbered hahaha

SCUM FAN 1: (COASTIE) ur coasties are the shitest team they had it at 1-0 from the 49th min n f**ked it up in the 92min ahahahaha

SCUM FAN 2: Hahahahaha coast scum!

SCUM FAN 1: costies have no fkn brains

SCUM FAN 2: Oath

SCUM FAN 3: big sasho petrovski

ME: Lol, like the guy who asked my mate if he was looking for the 2 points? Didn't he realise the Scum also only got a point? A shit team is one who loses to Sydney FC ;)

SCUM FAN 1: haha ben i dnt give a f**k about the scum from sydney all im talking about is that the scum were up 1-0 n they f**ked it up like they did against fold coast pmsl

ME: I've seen the Scum get run down after leading 2-0 more than once...

SCUM FAN 1: hahahaha we aint scumm we have class not ass who is getting beckham

ME: LA Galaxy have him at the moment.

SCUM FAN 1: nah i meant he is comming to play us not u coasties ahahahahaha

ME: Oh well, one less game for us to play, one less chance at picking up injuries. I'd find watching the Mariners play West Ham more interesting than the Galaxy.

There is another one just as funny that I will upload in a little while. Interesting to notice the comprehension skills that exist amongst Scum fans, however...

lol, well not really. this guy was a full grown adult who has violent tendencies, so I'm assuming that, by your logic, he was probably brought up to be a violent person by his parents or what have you. disgrace.

or maybe you think violence is ok, as long as your own children aren't there to see it, heaven forbid.

sasho is a good bloke though. we were heaps lucky, but we deserved a bit of luck considering we lost 2 of our key players in the first half which threw us out a fair bit. fair play to you guys, very unlucky not to win.

Take your right hand … raise to its full length your index finger… remove your pants… place your index finger were the sun don’t shine… sit swivel and enjoy riding your index finger … now Fark off with your index finger in its proper place …

Woeful English and grammar. They aren't worth our time

Pathetic little grubs....need a good slap most of them.

Anyway, my thoughts on the game not the lame 7K support.

Actually i'm going to bed now as I have a job and need some sleep.

I'll serve up my pearls tomorrow. No you dumb Scum fans....thats not a sexual comment.

Please, sir, would you mind keeping such filthy and graphic comments to yourself? I'm sure that little kids read this forum...

Stick to topic guys and leave personal stuff out.

We have had not one single banning on this new forum. I have just learnt how to ban so am itching to use it.
Be warned.

Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne (albeit a few minor changes to the V) have used the same kit for ACL and a-league. 4 of the 5 teams to compete in the ACL.

In my head, without looking back through the web pages, I'm picturing Melbourne and Adelaide both featuring strips of gold in their jerseys, making them completely unique to the ACL. But if you're sure, then sorry if I'm wrong.

I thought we did a reasonable job but a draw was probably the result we deserved. Scum are no longer easy-beats and when Jeffers is on the park Jesic looks very confident and they make a great strikeforce.

I was surprised that Doig was made the scapegoat for Wilko's poor game on Sunday but it was interesting to see what Sainsbury was like and i thought he had a solid debut if looking a bit scratchy at times. Personally i'd start Doig at RB atm but this kid will definately be a regular in years to come.

Ryan. I thought he was excellent and had his best game so far. Actually looked like a real HAL keeper. I'd give him MOM for that display.
Sainsbury. Solid debut.
Wilko. Good game and unlucky on the Scum goal.
Dutchy. Rock solid. 1pt.
Rose. He impressed me.
WeeMac. Good game.
Amimi. MOM in first half but faded, although not as bad as usual. Really good game and 2pts.
Hutcho. I could find NOTHING to like about Hutcho's performance. Jaded and lazy. Summed it up for me at the end when Scum striker got a shot on goal with Hutcho challenging and he failed to block the shot(or even attempt to block)and simply turned his back. I would be angry at a 12yo for doing that.
Bozanic. Good game, Probably the most technically gifted player in the team. Actually reminds me of Travis.
McBreen. Little bit off the pace but tried hard.
Simon. Very good game and clearly hates the Scum. 1pt shared with dutchy. Quality finish.

Kwas did well again.

Not sure what the gormless Scummers are on about with a handball??

Doig at RB? That's like playing Clarky at LB. Our first choice RB is Bojic, second choice Porter - both are very fit, fast, support play, overlap and can cross the ball - I doubt any of that applies to big Chris Doig. I don't think Wilkinson had a poor game against GCU because of his rare mistake, Sainsbury was brought in at RB because Wilko provides better balance with Patrick and is more agile than Doig.

You are correct. The Mariners, and I think Adelaide this year, are the only teams to have worn the same strip in both the ACL and the league. Every other team has had special ACL only strips.

Absolutely gutted to concede an equaliser two minutes into injury time. Would have been a famous derby win over the scummers away from home considering the amount of tough games we've had in the past couple of weeks. I thought Simon, Rose and Amini were outstanding and all the boys should be very proud of their efforts, except for Hutch who I thought was poor.

As usual some scum fans were appalling in their behaviour. Had a bogan family sitting behind me and a girl who must have been no older than 9 or 10 call Matty Simon a pussy licker and both of her parents wet themselves with laughter. Real classy. Got into my car in the car park in the northern end and had a boy of 14 or 15 run up and smash his fist into my roof for no reason, denting it. I chased after the little prick but being fat and 40, I had no chance catching him.

The amount of abuse and shit you cop walking out of the ground is amazing. I've been to heaps of away games and it never seems to happen elsewhere, not in my experience anyway. At least with the new away supporters bay, we no longer get spat on and have beer thrown at us from above.

So many Mariners supporters I know refuse to go to games in Newcastle because of the behaviour and the scum fans. They've gone before but won't go again. Some of their dickhead so called fans are truly disgusting.

OK I'm going to try and make this my last post in the thread.

What do you expect mate? The kid denting your car is pretty extreme I must say, but this is supposed to be a derby match. You're away fans and you're going to cop abuse from the home fans, besides the behaviour of Australian fans in derby games is pretty tame compared to the Europe etc. Try going to a derby game in Italy as an away fan and see how you like that.

These sorts of posts always amuse me. Pre match: "f**k the scum, they're all f**king c**ts. Bunch of bogans, we're gonna smash 'em!". Post match: "Oh I was horrified by the behaviour some of the Newcastle fans displayed! They swore at me! Me!" And a lot of the comments about children are a bit of a cop out TBF. I bet you would have lost your shit had your little daughter called Sasho a pussy licker.

I remember my Crystal Palace supporting mate telling me as the Palace fans walked from the station to the the ground at Portsmouth (Fratton Park) with police and horses on either side of them they walked ubder a bridge which had scrawled on it "Fratton is bad for your health" and then the bricks came raining down...or go to Milwall's New Den and from the station to the ground is a boarded walkway (the type they put up when refurbishing shops)so that Millwall fans can't get at you.
Yes the Newcastle fans can be appalling but it goes with the territory - their territory.
