ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
It was bloody hot in Perth and sitting on the sideline watching that rubbish would have made anyone feel like that. To be honest i feel sorry for the gaffer as i think he has been let down by the club and the players. As Hutch said everybody including each individual player needs to take responsibility for that performance and the performances over the 10 weeks.scottmac said:Was Lawrie sick at the post match interview with fox or was that white/green hue on his face the realisation of the end of his coaching career?

A new coach, new message ,tactics etc can work wonders sometimes.
It can fail aswell but in our case the writings been on the wall for a couple of years now.

Don't give me this crap of not having the cattle to work with; don't give me this crap that there is no one better. Lawrie's time is up.

Thats the area that begs for a new manager. It seems Lawrie is now unable to motivate the boys. No matter how good his tactics might be, if he cant get them firing then there is no point. It refers back to the Fergie situation again, he took no shit. a) Is Lawrie too soft? and b) Do the players still respect this authority?

Can you expand on this? Not sure what you mean.

Simple really - I don't think Arnold, Kossie, Fergie or youth coach are the answer. If you are to replace Lawrie - do a proper search - employ someone that is not simply 'not Lawrie' - but someone that can actually add value to not only the first team but potentially to the COE.
