ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Wakes up in a cold sweat ... breves a sigh of relief and says that was a bad nightmare ... must stop thinking of those Northern Spirit days...  and is told that was no dream .. all emotion is drained from my face...

Leaves room screaming as he throws down pills to take pain away...

I have no doubt his first signings will be Bruce Djite and Nathan Burns, those guys love him!

would not be upset with these signings but the biggest fear is holman as marquee!!!

I'd like all three. Holman is nowhere near as bad as he is painted - and does the hard work up front. I'd love to see Mrdja feeding off the crumbs from turnovers caused by Holman's <s>hassling</s><b>errors</b>.

Fixed.

I've had the misfortune of traveling overseas twice and to Canberra once to watch that c*nt attempt to manage a football team.  Never again.  Change can be all well and good, but not when it's a backwards/downwards step.

arnoldout...first player he buys will be hypen to fix our striker problems

Mate mate mate - Cornthwaite moved up front in the 75th minute when we're down 1-0 at home to Kuwait is tactical genius.  As is shifting Hyphenator to No. 10 when we're down 1-0 in the final group game that we need to win to qualify for the Olympic Quarter Finals.... you can't teach that sort of brilliance.

PJennings - Holman is utter piss, the single worst player to have ever worn a Socceroo's jersey, and I include Zdrillic in this (at least he scored goals).  End of discussion.

A Socceroos team with

Nikolai Topor-Stanley, Ruben Zadkovich  :-[ , James Holland, Kristian Sarkies

All should never have played for the Socceroos.

I still wonder if a new coach could do better with the cattle we have on the paddock. If not, and let's face it the coach isn't out there playing, then let's improve the herd before we shaft the herder.

The coach recruits most of them doesn't he ?

He picks them and then coaches them. It's his job to get results. One home win in a year isn't acceptable in my book.

I think that 5 year contract they gave him after the year 1 GF has been a noose around our necks.

Can't wait to see what GA can bring to the mariners after his marvellous workings for us in the asian cup. I wish i had more hands, so i could give that wanker 4 thumbs down. I would rather lawrie then him.

If and when McKinna does go, it should not only be him. The majority of the coaching staff should follow him out the door.
New coach should be someone from overseas, would love us to splash some cash on a good quality coach and the results will follow.
New coach will bring in some new players as well and maybe even get rid of some of the deadwood in the club.

McKinna just had Fox pose the question to him about his coaching tenure and he seemed pretty calm about it, stated he had a year to go on his contract and will be fine.

Starting to despair at some aspects of our management tbh.
the distinct lack of communication from the club is alarming imo, better run clubs would be out assuring the fans the neccesary steps are being taken to improve this situation... not winning at home, not winning away = club bleeding to death

No ones going anywhere Mckinna wil stay and potter round for another year. Mat Simon , Huntchinson etc all signed for a couple of years . Lets just resign everybody on long term contracts at least you no what they capable of and expectations wont be shattered.

Completely agree,I said something like this a week or two back. Just makes me wonder if the board really care, or are aware of how many of the mariners fans feel. If it's business as usual .. same-o, same-o, from the board, the fan base will drop even further. Will be interesting to see if the board make any comment to reassure the fans after today's drubbing.
