ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

exactly, very poorly handled...

btw- this is an article about Dannys ban and everything and the pic they have is the Jets mad monday... whats with that? http://www.smh.com.au/news/a-league/ban-to-end-vukovics-olympics/2008/02/25/1203788247348.html

I'm considering writing to the FFA about Griffith's shirt.
It's in poor taste and I'm personally horrified, let alone offended.

More importantly, how is vidmar's portrayal of a character from a film any more offensive than Griffiths' Satanic Salute in that photo?

Answer: it's an SMH photo so the Telegraph didn't get their hands on it.

I have not read the whole thread here as I've been busy BUT losing Danny for this period of time is NOT the end of the world.

Even if he was not banned we would have been without him for a long period of time due to the Olympics.

The Olympics are on in September, so all pre-season I imagine he would be in camp, returning around early October/late September? This means he will be out of action for 2 months perhaps? which is 8 rounds........Lawrie would have had a back up plan for this period I'm sure, Trotty will be given the nod I guess

Just wondering, this means that he won't be able to play in the ACL with us doesn't it?

Only if:

- It doesn't get reduced on appeal
- He re-offends and has to do the 6mth extension
- It includes all non-HAL matches, and
- He hasn't left us by then anyway

Now onto the quality of refereeing. Please help us....I say we invade Asia and just pay Malaysians and Japanese and Middle Eastern refs, because our standard is $hithouse. Peter Green is the best of a worst bunch, and the AR's are even worse.

Before you wish Asian referees upon us, check this out! A recent match between Japan and China where the ref was never in control ...

"However, The Daily Telegraph has learned that the two-man body comprised former Socceroo turned successful lawyer Peter Tredinnick and former NSL referee Simon Micallef"

Peter Tredinnick. Let me see, he used to play in the NSL in the late 1970s, didn't he?

Hmmm, does anybody remember who he played for?

The c**ts at the FFA didnt even have the decency to speak to Danny to tell him of his suspension, he found out through his mum who saw it on Fox Sports. I mean what the f**k is that about, they make a decision to suspend the boy from the biggest season of his career and they cant find the decency to let him know directly.

That violates some law I'm sure.
He should know of it before the it goes to the press.
