ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

people conveniently make up analysis through their own predisposed prejudices and sometimes i think they rarely watch games with any thought or reasoning as to why it is happening

20 or 30 years from now Melbourne and Sydney will be the Celtic and Rangers of the a-league (should it survive that long) and CCM will be a small club fluctuating between the premier league and the 1st division.Part_Timer said:David Votoupal said:It is also abundantly clear that the club's conservative attitude to player recruitment is also a likely albatross around its neck.
or we are skint of coin atm

I dread the thought that the club takes these people seriously, or that one day these people might become the majority and we become a shell of a club like Sydney.
No loyalty for or from the players nor the coaches, no love for the supporters and none from them either. It's an unhappy marriage, each party sitting around hoping against hope that one day the romance will come back.
We are not like that, we should never be like that. The club must respect us and build not just for this season but for the future. We must also respect them and let them build.
If all we do is carp, we deserve nothing better than a club like Sydney.

i dont...please clarify. What does adelaide and and qlds away crowds have to do with our club?Razorback said:Pohang brought more supporters than Adelaide or QLD ever do! Do you see what I am saying?
Im sick of this rugby league heartland shit. We have never had a side(our own side) whilst there is a national football side....on top of that the junior, senior and female participation levels of football dwarf the participation levels of league.Razorback said:Being a Rugby League heartland means that the club needs to be pro-active regarding this issue and the stagnation and recent poor performances of the current team and not going to win these fans back.

The Pohang fans had a better impact on our overall crowd figure than a regular season game against Adelaide, Qld or Perth.Im sick of this rugby league heartland shit. Imo that would make this more of a Football heartland rather then a league one
Then explain where these supporters are
Razorback said:Sean, I don't think slagging fans who are clearly frustrated with current events but still go to the games to support the team achieves anything! "f**k off and sit on the sideline instead of the bay" comments is probably why the numbers and noise from the bay are so disappointing and a reason why I have never wasted my time by sitting in the bay. As much fun as it does look when we are winning, being shot down by dickheads who think they "own" the bay when they want to start a chant has never looked appealing to me. Maybe this needs to be addressed and getting some solidarity will bring the numbers back to the bay. Or maybe, just maybe these are the fans that are leaving the game because they are sick of wasting their money and getting nothing back in return from team and the bay.
That is adult season ticket, reserved seating ... no more, no less (discounting any dubious Mariners members 'benefits').Razorback said:Is that in addition to actually paying to get into the game? What you get for the $190 and where does the cash go?
Bearinator said:So if that team has weekness all over the park, who do we have in your opinion that would be better suited?
Or is there nobody good enough for your lofty standards at the CCMFC?

brennan said:fwiw.. the reason bay 16 numbers have been down this season is because of the $190 membership to sit in the bay

Benefits?
