No apology needed - its not just these kids its every lot of them not just one lot. What training are they given? Half the time they aren't watching the bloody game...... FARK +1

3rd or 4th is doable for us IF (and its a big if) we can play for the whole game.

4 points lost against Scum and Melb could come back to haunt us

First or make grand final for the place in Asia..... Spot on with those lost four points comment.

Absolutely gutted about 2 all.  It was ours but we blew it.  Offside or not, once they were down to 10 men I was worried.  It looked as if we took the foot off the pedal.  Plus Thompson is so dangerous for them he always worries me.

Beginning of the 2nd half it looked like we'd lost our way big time.  It just didn't seem to have the flow of the 1st half.

Great to see Matty banging them in.  This from someone who couldn't hit the side of a barn last season.  Looks like I'm going to sign up for Foxtel so I can see him smash all the other teams when we're playing away.

Did anyone else notice Sash being pushed out of the box by our guys just before a corner?  I reckon Lawrie took off in part so he didn't get sent off.  When he hit the bench he did get his right(?) ankle wrapped up (injury perhaps?)

Highlight of the game ... seeing Lawrie punt the fark out of a drink bottle after the 2nd Tard goal.  There was emotion.  They should show that before every game and drum it into them what this game means - passion, passion, passion, passion, passion.  Wouldn't have wanted to be in that dressing room.

A draw against the comp leaders - good effort.  Should have been 3 points though.

LOL MV forum has a poll with Sash way out in front as the biggest C in the A-League.

I didn't think he could be any more of a C when he was playing for Sydney. I was wrong ;D I'm very much hoping Melbourne decide to appeal that red card and the FFA take a long hard look at themselves. It's getting very silly now.

Wowee. You guys have some of the most one-eyed football visions I have ever seen. It's great to see, tbh... shows good passion for the club.

I thought 2-2 was a fair result in the end. I was absolutely furious with the assistant referees... there were at least 4 Archie through balls called offside when he was clearly running from behind the last defender.

Bozza had a great game, but is a huge C himself. Yelling at ball-girls when he was too lazy to go and get the ball that was still on the pitch was a no-no. My wife was not impressed.

Caceras took the constant slagging well. He even looked up with a big grin and gave us a wave.

Poor Hutch took the slagging not so well. His head visibly dropped when I yelled "Take another dive, Hutchy".

Matty Simon... HANDBALL@! And that's all I have to say on that (except for "thanks for breaking the goal and giving us more time to equalise").

Good to see Tommy get a run after half time. Good to see Tommy and Jedi sharing a hug after the match.

Mitchell Langerak will be a Socceroos keeper in the future. The kid is an absolute star.

Sorry for breaking the fence. We didn't mean it. In fact we were pretty close to having our very own Hillsborough tragedy.

Was good to meet a couple of you guys back at the Leagues Club, including marinermick. I wasn't sure about the pretty drunk guy in a yellow top (not a Mariners top) that started off wanting to fight me, but was talked down to a hug.

All in all, it was a great trip - possibly the most relaxing and nicest trip I have been on.

You cannot stomp a player on or off the ball...end of. Do not give us the he was jumping up and down BS as you can see at 48secs him clearly stomping/kicking sasho then moving away before jumping up and down.

Whether sasho is a c**t or not it doesnt matter, sasho did a good job of getting in theo's ear and putting him off his game.

TBH, it would have been better for us if Melbourne kept 11 men on the field. We always seem to lose the plot or, at the very best, realise no advantage when we're playing 10 men and that game was no exception.

I thought Osman played okay too. Porter was good going forward but not so good tracking back, although he did manage to hold his own this time. He has concerned me in the past but have been happy with his last two performances.

As for Theoklo-tosser, it was a stomp and he got a red card - nobody to blame but himself.

If we got rid of those that people have suggested over the last 4 weeks we would have playing roster of 2 and no manager.
I am getting tired of the lack of constructive comment on this forum.
It is easy to be an armchair critic and knock.

This season is being compared to V2 by some, that is crap.
It is actually a lot closer to V3 at the same time. For the first part of last year we were getting out of jail so often (usually with a late goal, or opposition missing sitters) it wasn't funny. You all remember the past as being better than it was. We were bloody lucky on many occasions.

So far this year we have played much better football, but not got the results. We have had 3 draws that should have been wins with a touch more skill or luck. We have been punished for our mistakes.

I wonder how it would have been on this thread if that last goal had not gone in? I guess all our players would have been the best in the world.

We will be there at the end.

great to meet you as well

the drunk guy was rodent and that was partly my fault

i was in a pretty pissed mood after the game and the sight of trumper (green and gold army honcho) fired me up so much that i unleashed the whole green and gold army saga to rodent

this fired rodent up enough that he actually wanted to deck trumper

thought trumper took it well by just walking away

It's all good. Passionate subjects mixed with alcohol.

Trumper walked away, but I don't think rodent was too serious/sober enough to throw an effective punch.

I know I told everyone that we'd have a drink together on the return leg in Melbourne, but I've just remembered that I'll be in Bahrain at that time so won't be around.

To the Melbourne Victory fans who were at Bluetongue on Saturday night, abusing the ball girl in front of their bay, calling her "a filthy ranga" amongst other things, you are absolutely disgusting and should be ashamed of yourselves. Abusing a 14 year old girl about the colour of her hair, how f**king pathetic are you?

You must have been pretty close to hear that, considering I heard nothing but Bosnich slagging from the boys just behind me. Are you sure you're not projecting your own thoughts?

Ok, well I heard nothing of the sort. If I had, I would be voicing similar disgust.

Thats why your a decent fan, based on past posts on here. But it was said, and she is shattered that grown men would stoop so low. What was supposed to be a fun day for a local girl to be a ball girl for her local club, was turned into tears by a small group of f**kwit fans.

*starts to realise what Sydney fans are on about*

our ball boy in front of us had to put up with bottles and other various items like streamers being thrown at him all game.

I had to put up with being called a cheat by crazy 5 year olds after the game until their mothers clamped their hands over their mouths. My wife thought it was hilarious, but it hurt my feelings.

I take incredible exception to this comment. Sydney fans are soulless little cretins that would sell their grandmother out to look better in the eyes of Uncle Fwank. They are not people that should be listened to for anything.

How dose a grown man being called a cheat by a 5 year old kid compare to grown men teasing a 14 year old child, school yard style?
