ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I don't think it really matters what you wear to a game. I don't know about others in Liverpool shirts did but I paid money for my ticket and supported my team... I don't think 50 people in a red shirt is going to affect the team's performance.

Eurosnobs in Lolerpool jerseys make me vomit, support an HAL club you wankers
i wore my lolerpool jersey to show my recognition to one of the greats of LFC, end of story.
Both statements in the same post???? WTF?

He was quoting someone in that first part, didnt look like it tho.

Interesting scenario last night with a minute to go.

McBreen gets a perfect through ball and finds himself in front of goal. Instead of making the b-line to the keeper he has done so all season, he slows right down and turns away from goal. He practically waited until Wilko tackled him.

Very interesting indeed.

I also found this interesting but could also be a reflection that he is on the outer at the club since confirming he will be a Mariner by the end of the year.  Same with us, Boogs hasn't played great since his Heart transplant announcement, while Heff has, as he has 'bigger' things on his mind so continues to deliver.

Did anyone else see Marvin / McBreen hug when he came out of the tunnel?

Yes. Saw the hug. Showing some early love, perhaps like the instance Mick mentioned.

Good post. But tell me spikey boy old son.
If your doing something wrong.. and you keep doing it wrong, but believe it will get right eventually.
What is the result, time and time again?
And how frustrated and annoyed do you get that it isnt working and your still pursuing it knowing it is wrong? You're wasting your time.
Do it right, do it properly and ill be there to watch and enjoy it.
I have an opinion, and Ive chosen a name and therefore its not going to change, no matter how hard you blow the bugal.
I speak for the families, the children, and the fanatics that pour their soul into the team, week in and week out, Its not good ENOUGH.

Well, mr (or is that master?) mariner-no-heart, you don't speak for my family, my children or my grandchildren, so don't presume to do so; and I'm quite sure that the fanatics (of which you are most decidedly NOT one) don't need your negative spew on their behalf. They're quite capable of saying their own words if they choose.
As for blowing a bugal, what the hell is that? Is it some form of musical instrument similar to a bugle that we hear on Anzac Day?

Aaaah, shit, when will I learn not to feed f$%^#n trolls?
How do we set a kill filter on this forum?

Bullshit everyone was bored, there were a lot of people around where I was sitting who gave no indication of boredom, they were making too much noise. Frustrated yes, but not bored.
IMO, with the negativity of your comments, if you don't come back you probably won't be missed. How can you call them "your" team if you won't come to watch them? Are they only "your" team when they win? I've followed "my" team for 50 years (not the Mariners, the other one) and whether they're up or down I watch them play whenever I can.
Last year I bought a season ticket to see the Mariners, and I did so again this year, and I will do so for as long as I can afford to. I don't have ANYTHING more constructive to do than cheer on my team, win, lose or draw.
Be careful you don't trip as you get off the bandwagon.

It's alright, for him there's a store in Mann St. that sells brand new ManUre jerseys for $60.  :p

Saw Doig give McB a friendly welcome as soon as he came on. Couldn't hear what he said, but the body contact seemed to say "you're not one of us yet, so if you get in my way I'll f***k you" :)

Good idea, better also buy a Chavs jersey with Lumplard on the back in case Manure dont win the title this season.

God forbid you should follow a team that doesnt win every week

BTW I assume that if you play the game and your team isnt going to win the league do you stop turning up for games as well?

Took some pics of the game. Here is a link to the album as I didn't want to slow down the page with a bunch of photos.

A touch over 6550 from memory (definately above 6548 which was my guess - kids and I play guess the crowd for a prize).  There were definately a lot of new people in our bay (7) - how much of the crowd were 'tourists' and Fowler fans?  We met a family in the leagues club going to their first game, hope they enjoyed themselves.

Wilko for MOM, he did great job on Daal.  From where I was sitting he really looked like he was putting in.

yea I laughed off Costar's guess  :naughty:
Called it ambitious from memory :p - i think he was 50 off.
I guessed 5322 (I am always over...so I tried a more conservative approach)

Daal was fantastic. He was isolated and held the ball up to bring in Fowler and co. The way the game was played didnt suit him in the 2nd half with the ball going over his head.
