I’d be absolutely shocked if either leave, both are proper pros, they realise their importance to our club and will hopefully honour their contracts.

. i don't think it is an issue of professionalism or honouring contracts and more about managing 'the floor' spending ... they would be two of our most expensive players - similar enough to take away from the diversity of the squad [i.e. we have have spent far too much of our miniscule spending on DMs in the last few years]

. there are some scenarios which would lead to such an astrological re-alignment but i don't think there is anything to support that at the moment

Wout is here for an experience as he said when was signed. I’m coming to experience something different before going back to Holland. He is getting an experience alright.

I am sure I read a post recently that said Tommy can play at RB, how about that as an option if MM doesn’t believe him and Wout fit together in midfield?

You don’t move Tom you move Wout if there is a belief they don’t fit.

However Tom is not a DM so i don’t see any reason that they can’t play together unless you have an upgrade on Wout to replace him

I am hearing that there are two more signings to be announced this week, neither of which will be a disappointment. I also understand there are several more are in the wings apparently, some of which are eye openers if they come off.

I love these posts OH. But you do seem to keep forgetting to use people’s names.

Say for example instead of “they” or “some” you could simply say Iniesta and Ronaldo etc

Good to see Rowles signing an extension. I would prefer if we develop him more as a central defender. He doesn't have the pace nor crossing ability to be a left full back. Bring back Galloway for starting left full back and bring in an NPL back up like Jamie Lobb, Steve Whyte or Riley Woodcock.
