ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hmmmm, I admit to not having taken nearly any interest in roars history, and was told that last part...really don't know anything personally. It's quite possible I was told fake news of course
He’s talking about this year when Moore got knifed for numbers gate.

He is a bit light but if he could shoot you wouldn’t notice as much. His lack of leg power is a major flaw. He hasn’t hit anything from past the penalty spot. Not saying he can’t, he just didn’t and the ones he tried were weak and hit with the instep at the GK or wide
I genuinely think he has no idea how to shoot. Haven't seen him consistently step up to the ball, body shape for striking is all wrong. You don't need tree trunks to hit a ball cleanly, it's all in that first step which he always plants too close.

Bumped into DDS’s father yesterday and it’s pretty much a done deal that he is gone for next season. Offers on the table from Roar and $ity, with two other clubs wanting to speak with him. They will speak with the club again next week before making a decision but our lack of recruiting to date, is probably not going to show optimism for the next season as yet and I doubt he will be persuaded to stay.

I couldn’t get any info on the contractual situation behind it all but MMM pretty much said he was free to speak with other clubs if he didn’t want to be an integral part of the tough task of rebuilding the team, which is fair enough. With the number of departing players involved, the club really does need to start announcing some positive signings very soon imo.

I also picked up on some interesting talk about a former EPL striker that is considering an offer from us and that would be a positive bit of news if it happens.

As I've posted before. I don't blame him for wanting out. He must be smarting knowing that if he was playing for City, Scum, SFC or Victory this year, there'd be a decent chance he'd have hit proper form and be off to Russia.

But although I do think he's a quality player, I'm actually not unhappy about it. The challenge ahead is going to be such a mental one. I don't think we can rebuild without players who 1000% want to be here. And from what I saw, nor does he have the experience and mental toughness yet when the chips are down in games. We will need that graft this year.

Vinnie Grella seemingly becoming a big influence in the Aussie market.
In an ideal world, Monty can work something absolutely magical with his UK connections (mostly sheffield) and get us a billy sharp type striker. Championship level experience etc
A playmaker now 2nd on the priority list, now way in hell can Hoole be trusted in that role every week, must make a play for Olly now. Need some confirmations in the next week or so to show how serious we are despite the shallow wallet.
