ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I don’t get these loan signings at all. What benefit does the club get out of this??? There is no financial benefit and what have we got to play for this season??? The spoon???

We play to get away from the spoon, to take steps away from being the laughing stock of the league which hurts our recruitment and future prospects. I understand your logic but IMO these signings show MM isn’t willing to go out the way Okon did and will keep fighting. Maybe we couldn’t get a longer term prospect but this was the next best option and just maybe next years recruitment gets a little easier.

If a kid leaves his brand new bike for Christmas outside unlocked where the other kids can see it and goes inside. Don’t expect your bike to be there by the end of January

That doesn't mean that it's ok to steal the bike though - just that it's to be expected.

I feel underwhelmed by the signings, I suspect these boys can play but on loan for a few months so how dedicated will they be. They probably see it as a summer holiday football camp. Millar gone, time to start asking the have we hit rock bottom yet question again. MV to seriously touch us up on Saturday, I’m really concerned. As a club we are clueless and I don’t seem any improvement on the horizon.

Furthermore Mulvey’s handling of Kekeris has been nothing short of shambolic. Kekeris is a vastly better player than Wales. Wales has been shown faith by his manager and has thrived at City. If the same faith had been shown to Kekeris we would have a break out star on our hands.

Glassock is a guaranteed future first team centre back. Why are we waiting for another team to pounce???

1 Signings at this time can help us avoid the spoon.
2 If they work out we could get the loans continued for next season.
3 They may be good, love Terrigal and migrate
4 We strengthen our relationship with Sheffield, more loan deals, more Montgomeries.

Kekeris and Glassock may be good but not yet ready for full contracts, their chance to shine is in the future.

Well more fool them. They are part of a development squad for a team that is likely to be in the EPL next season. They have a chance to be a part of that. To treat it that way would not be looked at favourably by the Blades.

Sheffield are league 1 I think... So they're a few steps below EPL u23 but they are gonna be many steps above our u23 players. So I'll be happy if they are a step up on nizzy.

Our end of contract is like May 28 or something not June 30 like Europe. So it's within 6 months

The are Championship (level below EPL) . Their youth will absolutely shit on our youth for quality.

He is dead to me and i cant promise i will be nice if i see him at training.

I have the players in an excel spreadsheet with their postion, DOB, contract year end etc and a status such as keep/bought/release etc that I use to update the first post of this thread. When I heard the news today I changed his status to 'dead to me'
