I wouldn’t be so sure about that. If they make him train by himself and generally ostracise him there could be issues. Not to mention that could seriously damage team morale as no doubt he’s close to many of the guys.

Can’t see them having any right to pressure for game time but it’s reasonable to expect decent employment conditions. The club has to handle this professionally otherwise even less players will want to sign for us.

The Jets aren't exactly having a stellar season this year and they came chasing hard for Odonavan and he's not exactly going gangbusters or setting the league on fire so if Miller goes so be it. He has looked solid for us this season but that wouldn't have been hard . And to be honest he's an OK player but not a great player so he can take the wheels on his house and himself and f**k off north. Only a thought but Macca is a big fan and has close connections to the Jets maybe he was on a scouting mission.

that's crap.....I spoke with Dan McBreen at our last home game on the 20th.....and he said Millar had already signed elsewhere. And Ozhammer alerted the club back in December.... so why only approach him this week ????

The club wanted to be able to offer him more than what they could offer back in December. I assume they needed to offload Cisse & Golec to afford a good offer. I don't think they expected him to sign with a club so quickly without speaking to them first.

I was a big Ascroft fan while he was here and when okon dropped him for a few weeks I messaged him on Instagram asking what the deal was, on the way out or injured. He replied fairly quickly and honestly. Was dropped for bad form and then picked up a strain. He didn’t even have to look at the message, but he treated a fan with a smidge of respect. Just a recent personal example.
