Not heard much of Patrick Antelmi other than he's decent. John Hall please. Ben Kennedy mold. A career destined to always be no.2

Couple of seasons back he had a successful season at w’gong wolves. Was much in demand .......... don’t know where he went but I don’t think he set the world on fire ???

Neither are specialist FB’s, so would only ever be a compromise and I was also including Thwaite potentially in that list.
I think Clisby would come over as a replacement for Rosey at LB. Rowles can back up if required at either LB or CB. Thwaite i guess is much more of a CB.
Either way, they will give us a bit more steel and aggression, and experience.

Good to see Mulvey giving NPL players a go in trials. If they are up to standard thm bringing them in now makes the most sense. It took Athiu half a season to get up to speed but look at him now, giving them a pre season will give them the best chance to succeed. Mulvey is going about this far quicker than Walsmley and Okon which is heartening to see. Been watching Wenzel-Halls in the NPL via the Football Queensland livestreams. He misses quite a few easy chances but gets into good positions, combines well with others and is quick. A professional environment might iron out the kinks in his game. Antelmi and Evans always look a step above at NPL level so I definitely think there is potential to step up there.

Antelmi has been high quality in the NPL for around 3-4 years now, could prove a quality back up to a high quality experienced striker. If Mulvey is looking at NPL players as decent squaddies then surely Jamie Lobb is worth a look from Manly, local guy too.
Going for Bozanic should be the highest priority imo, every time he’s been in between clubs he’s been here, on the coast, keeping fit and sharp. THROW MONEY AT HIM FFS.

If we're keeping Brama and Hiariej I don't think we should go after Bozanic. Bozanic is good but unless he is playing at left wing, which he doesn't seem to like, then we have more than adequate players already on high salaries in his position. As much as players like Bozanic and Wilkinson would probably help bring back fans initially, we need to focus on players who will improve the squad not just our marketability.

Agree mostly, but with the expected departure of DDS, Olly could be a very decent 10 or even push Tom higher. This is assuming Mulvey sticks with the same formation. He may want 3 in the middle with Tom and someone in front of Wout (perfect for a player like Olly)

Ob is an acquisition of joyce so he would be looking forward to the preseason as a fav of the city coach and the clubs backing. I doubt a swap to the spooners when he is getting good minutes at city would sit well with his advisors.
