ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
@Ozhammer mentioned Joey Mills. From what I saw of him he looked pretty decent and good left backs are hard to find. One drawback is that he takes a visa spot.
Thoughts?
I’d have him backWee Judas has left the Phoenix.
yes I was thinking the same thing. A-league is a big step up. TBH some of the defending in those clips was pretty poor. Having said that worth a look as there are some gems to be discovered in the lower leagues but they are very rare.Matt Sim scored four goals against Queensland NPL opposition. Just saying.
There's a rumour we're looking at Clisby from wsw

Hopefully true, I was told he had been offered a 12 month contract but wanted 2 yrs. We refused so he decided to look into other offers he had received. He wants to stay tho so that is a positive.
Your main point of attraction for a good junior seems to be the prospect of game time.
Try these for reasons a talented junior might be better off elsewhere :
Charlesworth ............... club killer supremo.
The coaching staff that had the reputation of turning out talent have mostly left. The new guys are somewhat unproven in that they hadn’t held positions at this level before making a committment to ccm risky.
Mulvey is known to want results not favour a kindergarten although his declaration of supporting charlesworth’s regime is a mystery unless it was to seal the gig. Like Okon he seems to prefer the devil he knows rather than the unknown.
Sfc, wsw and jets all have excellent programs up and running now and with owners that spend money for who they want.
I admit my opinions are formed from what I would consider popular sentiment rather than hands on experience but non the less it is info that is out there.
Once. And only once.Matt Sim scored four goals against Queensland NPL opposition. Just saying.
Once. And only once.
yeswasn't it the last time we won an FFA Cup game?
He falls well too...Love the look of him. He is hungry and wants the ball. Also has good anticipation.
