ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I've been ignoring Offsider's stuff for a while now. You could tell there was something going by the posts so it piqued my intrest and unignored to be faced with the reason why I ignored in the first place.

Thank you .......... I obviously confuse you with the use of punctuation marks.

but I think I notice a trace of humour in there scottmac ............ and you did refer to me with a capital “O”...........

No one is getting carried away by the result of a trial game. I think the main points are that we comfortably beat a strong team and weren't threatened. This result won't matter when the season starts but it's good signs that we looked like a good team in the game yesterday and Mulvey has got the team playing within his tactics and structure a month out from the start of the season.

There will be more trial games to come and they will be judged accordingly.

I think all of us are not expecting miracles. But we are expecting improvement, more fight and a good chance of either making the 6 or been in it coming into the last few games.

Matty Simon and MMM are both fighters. The game against Adelaide (with 4 or 5 yoof playing) was woeful but since then we are starting to look like a Football team.
Still a couple of jigsaw pieces to fix and then its game on.

Ross McCormack being linked to a $13m move to the Seattle Sounders. :(

That’s shitty pay back Hutch.

I actually do think Matty can lead us, so was worried McCormack might cause ripples - depending on attitude - our system and who needed to be left out - or we’d play Matty as a false nine. But now question is can Gameiro and Murray give us enough potency up front to make a real go of it this year... possibly.

But McCormack... well reason he’s getting a 13 mill pay check.

Yeah I've done an exhaustive search and can't find anything. Apparently there are clubs in Turkey willing to take him if his contract is torn up but I don't think the lifestyle there will suit. Wil be interesting how this plays out. He has options

Hahahahaha oh dear.
That McCormack to sounders rumour was from @transfersbot on twitter, which gives us such reputable rumours as Chelsea bidding £6.8m for Sergio Ramos, and Newcastle United readying a £16m bid for Messi. Oh my days.
