A 10-15 goal a season striker finally. Would be a great signing. Scored more than a few for City and looked out of shape. Imagine what he could do when fully fit.
he'd be more like "Ross Ross, scores 20 +"
with no Bobo or Barisha he'd be odds on for golden boot

I agree, maybe some of this new Bolt revenue has been put to immediate use?

Yeah possibly. Be an amazing uplift in our fortunes.

And with the worlds eyes on us, including new and future sponsors, playing good football and winning becomes valuable in a way that it has never in truth been able to be for us before. So it does make sense to pull out the stops.

I’ve just watched some highlights packages of Tommy Oar and Ross McCormach, bloody heck that would be a potent combo....

With God Tommy and O’Neill feeding ball to Oar and Wee mac out wide, McCormack up front with Matty floating as a fake 9....

McCormack should be fantastic for us. He was at Leeds for a few seasons and was a fan favourite. Also he solves all of our dead ball issues.
We need to bring in a specialist RB and a specialist defensive coach and probably a new Goalkeeper coach.....if Nash is a Pikey puppet then meh....if he signed off on our new supposed reserve keeper then he needs to go.

Ross McCormack if he is signed will be a big plus for the Mariners.
I watched most of his matches for City last season and he is a very intelligent footballer, even if he has allegedly a few issues off the field.
I think he could play as a ten as well as up front. He often would drop deeper at City to set up or switch play, you could see at times he was frustrated with the lack of ability of some of his team mates and would take matters into his own hands to improve the lead up play.
As long as his alleged off field issues are contained he should be a great pickup.

Geeze this Oar rumour has picked up the pace, I really hope it becomes reality.
High quality Socceroo, should be a multi year deal. Performs well and we can cash in.
Also one step closer to killing off Bolts chances. And we can keep looking like a real pro football team.

McCormack could give us 15 goals that we wouldn't otherwise have gotten. Vital that this signing goes through. Oar hasn't played a lot of games in the last year so he'd need some time to get match fit but he's a very good signing if that goes through. If we can improve on the only 28 goals scored last season and get up towards 1.5-2 goals a game and improve on the 49 goals conceded last season, we'll be in a much stronger position. I have more faith our attack will improve than the defence though.
