ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Spoke to DDS at tonight’s Mariners dinner and will be very surprised if he is still with us next season, his manner and body language spoke volumes (unfortunately).

Golec said that he turned down a two year deal, so he could see how his recovery from injury went. What a class individual and all being good, he will be here for the long-term.

Hoping Rowles gets re-signed, he is soooo keen to remain at the club, as is Lachie Wales.

Heard words that TBT is definitely out the door and wasn’t too impressed by Pain’s attitude for most of the evening either, so it looks like something is going on there too.

Felt really sorry for Rosebud, he really wants to stay and be part of the rebuild but the club obviously feels differently. Hope he can restart his career somewhere else.

I didn't want rosebud to be flicked. So I'm a yes if the club backpeddles.

Liam is a difficult one.

Firstly - he has been cut by the club. Secondly we have 4 central midfielders signed for next year in Tom, Wout, Melling and Berry. Thirdly - he is now 21 and won't count as one of the 3 under 20 players. At CB we have Baro, Golec (assuming recovery). At this stage of his career - for his sake - he needs game time. I think he has the attributes to play at CAM but would not want him as first choice there.

Where does that leave him. A good utility player that is in every game day squad that can cover a number of positions - but not in the first XI in his chosen spot of CM. I would have happily kept him - but would also be happy to see him develop elsewhere.

Liam had so many chances.
Seams like a nice kid, probably too nice and laid back.
It would be pointless to retain him imho.

Talking as I was a few posts back of under 20 players. Who should we be looking at from the Academy and elsewhere. I'm not sure but I think for these purposes that means DOB on or after 31/12/1996 - that is if you were still 20 at the beginning of the year you are eligible.

That means of the currently signed players Berry, DDS and Trent are the only under 20 players we have. Two of those are rumoured to be going. I think Kye and Lachie are both worth squad spots and from the Academy I'd look at Kekeris and Glassock.

Any others worth a spot either from around the club or elsewhere

BTW Liam would have been still been eligible if he stayed so My point earlier about him is wrong.

Very valid argument.

Rosey’s speech was f**kin mint! Haha
DDS and Trent are both gone apparently. I hear DDS sent his brother in to clean his locker out - if so, byeeeeeeeeee. Gutless act.
Pain seemed very pensive at the end of the night... mind you that was at 2.30am after 2000000 vodkas.
I’m sad to see Liam go tbh.
