I wouldn't describe Kekeris as a forward. Wide midfielder/winger. Plays in Pains role for CCMA
Better at cutting in and shooting though

'It's' ??
.... or are do you mean 'He's' the new Defensive Midfielder ?

How does a winger/RB transform into a DM ??
Wingers are the new Defensive midfielder.
We had heaps of DM’s last year now it looks like a heap of wingers. In reply to Josh saying we have to many is rumors are true

I think we all would, doesn't mean it will happen though. :) If we don't but use the cash to fund other areas we are desperate for then i'm ok with that. Jake or Millar would both do an adequate job as RB.
Never seen Millar play so can't judge him yet.

It lends weight to the 352 formation discussion. Or a 433
A solid back 3 where McGing or the right side stays at the back suits both McGing and our squad.

Aspro can than play right side of Cisse leaving McGing as back up and Aspro can back up Cisse

Still one adventurous RB would be nice for flexibility

So ........... the first preseason real game trial away is over . Not feeling very happy but ............. should note the positives that mm and mc can glean from the expenditure.
1. It was only three nil.......... and not to an npl side.
2. The promised players that haven’t been signed yet didn’t get injured.
3.After a woeful, flat, slow performance it can only improve from here. No seriously.
4. The underdog tag has been secured for the opening ot the season.
5. The odds have shortened dramatically on our winning a third spoon.......... oh wait??? .........

Sorry Jake is less than ideal. Emergency RB but very foolish to be starting him at RB and his crossing as a WB is woeful.

Post match comments from MM. as per club article post match

“We’ve got quite a number of players ready to bring straight into the squad which we will announce soon. This team will be very different when the A-League starts, that is an absolute promise.
Is that because half the first xi are injured? Sorry cynical foul. Yellow card

I was quite pleased by the discipline shown by the side. No pre season games before a first competitive hit out should lead to massive frustration but only 1 card is pleasing.

Having Simon as skip was a good move and while he was aggressive it wasn't the Simon of old.

MM's comments that those coming in are first 11 players is encouraging and the fact they haven't been announced lends credence to the hope that they are bigger money earners than we currently have and we are trying to save money by starting them late.

These next 4 weeks would want to see the players announced or I'm not f**king watching
